We took the Amawaterways Danube River cruise from Prague to Budapest. After a three day visit to Prague, we boarded the ship in Vilshofen for a 6 night trip, followed by a one night stay in Budapest. Most of the excursions were included and had a wide choice of difficulty to accommodate every passenger. The few extra trips that we took were well worth the money as well.

My husband and I were a little apprehensive to book any cruise, as my husband gets a little green with the rocking of a boat. There was no rocking whatsoever and we spent some of our time on the top deck enjoying the scenery. This was our first river cruise, but it seems to us that it would be hard to top. The staff was outstanding, the food and wine excellent, the ship's facilities were everything we expected. Our cruise manager, Kata, was tireless in her efforts to make sure everything went right. We had a great time!

My 80+ mother and I were on the Romantic Danube cruise, our 2nd AmaWaterways cruise. Last year in October we did the Enchanting Rhine.
