Port of Ancona

The city of Ancona on Italy's east coast dates back to ancient times and relics of long-gone eras can be found all throughout, including various churches and cathedrals, as well as a Roman amphitheater. Beyond the city's Old Town, visitors will find museums, parks, monuments, shops and restaurants serving cuisine made with locally grown ingredients. Horseback riding, cycling and mountain climbing are also popular excursions.
