Port of Santarem

In Santarem, the Amazon and Tapajos rivers meet and local indigenous cultures live on. Relics from ancient times can be found throughout the city, including at the Joao Fona Cultural Center and Museu Dica Frazau. At the beaches, visitors can simply spend the day relaxing shoreside or embark on a boating adventure on either river.
