Port of Portree

While it's the largest town on Scotland's Isle of Skye, Portree is more like a quaint village than a busy city. There are a number of activities on offer from a public swimming pool and boat cruises to pony rides and various shopping options. Much of the town can be experienced in a few hours' time, which may allow visitors to explore some of the surrounding area as well.
