Port of Marbella

Scenic Marbella is a sizable resort town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. Offering cruise travelers gorgeous vistas of the Sierra Blanca Mountains, Marbella is home to miles and miles of family-friendly beaches and even a quaint historic quarter for those who prefer to spend some time off the sand.

Cruisers who happen to be overnighting in Marbella can also check out the "Golden Mile," which is lined with upscale nightclubs and bars, luxury estates and fantastic boutiques. History buffs should be sure to visit the ruins of Marbella's ninth-century Arab fortress and anyone who enjoys a good meal will not be disappointed in the city's traditional cuisine and delicious wines. Active travelers can also seek out canyoning, mountain bike tours or participate in any number of watersports.
