Port of Ilha Grande

Though not terribly far from cosmopolitan Rio de Janeiro, Ilha Grande is vastly different. The island -- which is located off Brazil's east coast -- is for the most part, untouched. It boasts spotless beaches, rolling green hills and lots of opportunities to enjoy nature, whether on the sea or on land. Visitors will find excellent surfing, diving, hiking and biking throughout the island.
