Port of Patmos

Known to be home of John of Patmos, the author of the Book of Revelations of the Holy Bible, Patmos is a Greek Island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is considered sacred by Christians the world over. But, it's also home to a number of stunningly beautiful beaches and excellent seafood restaurants, making it an ideal destination for a variety of visitors -- whether exploring the local neighborhoods or visiting the historic Holy Monastery of the Apocalypse.
