We chose this cruise because we wanted to see Maine. It was very interesting to see the little towns along the Maine coast. We then left from Portland and took the CAT Ferry to Nova Scotia. If doing the Maine cruise, you can always hop on the ferry then which is right next door to where the ship docks.
