We have always loved Norwegian Cruise Lines and its super friendly/entertaining atmosphere and staff before this last cruise we just took in December on the Norwegian Sun. However, after this cruise my family and I just took we were all highly disappointed with our cruising experience. While there were some positive aspects of our vacation, such as the photography services and the friendly staff that helped us choose and buy our family photos taken onboard, the disappointing aspects of our experience outweighed the positive aspects. Firstly, our dining experience onboard was subpar at best. When we would go to the Garden Cafe for a meal, there were not many options and variety available to choose from and eat. Especially with our family being vegetarian, finding options and options that were tasty were pretty difficult; this is true in the complimentary restaurants as well. Our family even went to the specialty Mexican restaurant Los Lobos; however our family could only choose and eat 1 entree because it was the only vegetarian option (even the rice and beans had meat in them!). Secondly, the staff was noticeably less visible and friendly on this cruise compared to our last two cruises, for example our cruise director Jamie only introduced the first show and only hosted one event (the Newlywed Game Show) and we did not see or hear of her at all for the rest of the cruise. Our housekeeping staff was also not too friendly, even rudely telling my sister and I that we have to leave the room within 10 minutes so they can clean it (the housekeepers waited outside the cabin door knocking for us to leave). Another experience with rude staff was in the Garden Cafe, I was apparently blocking the plate stack while I was serving myself some food and the worker was tapping his foot behind me and gave me an attitude to move over so he could put more plates on the stack, even though it had only been a couple seconds that I was standing there. Lastly, the entertainment felt lazy and unimaginative. All the game shows and events were exactly the same from our past NCL cruises and nothing felt innovative or exciting. Also, the biggest disappointment with the entertainment was that most of the “fun” events were for additional fees, which seems very greedy and vicious from NCL seeing as though everyone has already spend a hefty amount of money to already be on the cruise. It was the constant additional fees and the constant selling/advertising that made me lose most of my respect for NCL and its ethics, they don't seem genuine anymore and it seems that all the company wants to do is suck their consumers out of as much money as they can. Overall, my family and I had a pretty subpar/bad experience this time around on NCL even though we have been loyal to them in the past and are Latitudes Rewards members. I am unsure of if we will choose NCL again for our future cruises after this last experience. Read Less

Our first night in formal dining room...it took 4 of us, 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete our dinner. We decided to try the formal dining room again for breakfast and from the time we were seated until the time we got our food it was 50 minutes. Food was luke warm even. From the day we got there until the day we left we only saw our room steward 1 time. our tissue box in the bathroom was empty for two days until i asked guest services for more klenix. I could go on but it not even worth my time to type it....very unhappy with the over all cruise, will not go back to Norwegian, unless we hear of major changes...back to Royal Carribbean we go for now. We have been on many cruises. First time on Royal Caribbean. Worse, boring, and not friendly Cruise ever!! No entertainment on the pool area deck. The DJ was terrible in the Viking Lodge ,stopped the music, and turned on all bright lights every time someone spilt a drop or dropped a drink. The centerium area of the boat was mostly dead and the bar was design were your back was to entertainment area. The ship was old and didn’t looked kept up. There were a few issues with the electronic part. Even the guy doing (employee) music trivia complained about the age and out dated equipment. Honestly felt like we were at a floating nursing home. If bingo is your thing, Royal Caribbean Cruise is for you. On a positive note, we did like that the drink package was unlimited and usable off the boat. CooCay was very nice and well kept. Pool was clean and service was decent. CooCay was definitely the best part of the whole trip. Never again! Carnival ships in the future. Read Less

Only short cruse available to book at the time. Glad it was only 4 day. Made friends with some first time cruisers. ran into them later; talk about being disappointed. Told them not all cruise lines were like this. Arrived at pier at 1pm. joined a wait line as long as the ship, no one greeting, no one with info, had to seek out where we could make show and dinner reservations. Service was hit or miss. some crew good some not, Supposed to leave at 8am. called our color, kept us in line for 11/2 hours asked to cut in line to get off. No reason no excuse made . Made our flight by 20 mins. good thing we were tsa pre. smoky casino, supposed to be separate. Get real thats not possible. lots more poor but Im tired of it and this 2nd class line. At least the entertainment was good. Cirque, beatles. burn the floor all good Girl that ran interactive shows was good. Lounge entertainment, guitar and piano were fantastic. Constant pre cruise emails to bid up to a private area. Had the Ultimate Drink Package. Not everything included. Must be a super ultimate somewhere!!! This ship is like the airlines. Friends found deal. Long lines for dinner & shows. Nothing to be had with coffee on deck ( pastries, bagels etc.) before 7:30am. Every major event seemed to be routed through the casino. Smallest pools I've ever seen. Food was good, but not the lines. Service was excellent. Not enough entertainment choices for a 10 day cruise. Only place for any kind of food before 7:30 am was Irish bar on deck 6. Dark and not inviting for a early morning snack. Also, bar is in the middle of smoke smelling casino. Not interested. All in all I cannot recommend NCL with a clear conscience to friends, family, colleagues or anyone else that asks. I will say again, I'm completely turned off about "Freestyle" sailing. Back to the size of the pools. We've been on many ships, NCL Epic has the smallest pools weve ever experienced. On top of that, the pool on the H20 deck (aft) was out of service the last day and a half of the cruise. I don't usually write negative reviews but I was really dissatisfied with NCL Read Less

We wanted to get away for the Christmas holidays and wanted to sail on the Epic. We have been on several of the NCL large and small ships and have over $2000 in future cruise money, so we are a fan of NCL. There were so many things wrong with the Epic, that surprises me why NCL has not fixed them. Embarkation was terrible with extremely long lines even we arrived when we should have. In the stateroom the toilet is in one room, the shower in another room, and the sink in the stateroom itself. Functionally this makes sense, but in reality, it is a mess. My wife's head, while in bed, was only about 5' from the toilet if the door was open. The balcony stateroom was very tight. We had to turn our small carryon to it's side to pass by the end of the bed. No power outlets above the counter level in the room. On deck 6, a main area, is the casino that goes from one side of the ship to the other. You walk through it to get to many places and due to the smoke, you and your clothes smell like smoke. Could not get to the Taste restaurant from the aft elevators. Moderno was awful. Food way overcooked. Getting a drink at the bar on the ship took well over 30 minutes. If you were a small person, getting to the bar would have been worse. There are two tiny pools for this big ship. The Cavern club sound was terrible. It is a long narrow room, with the stage along the long wall. Just awful. Our cabin stuck out beyond the upper staterooms meaning people could look down on us, and when they washed the glass above, guess where the wash water went. A main theater show with drag queens. Not the best for a main show in our opinion. The cruise director was great, and staff were friendly but the staff had accents made that made it very hard to understand them. On the positive side, Cagney's was awesome, as well as the bar there. Main DR food was very good, however breakfast plating was different everyday. Howl at the Moon was awesome, particulary Katie. Entertainment in the main DR was great.. Bar service at O'Shehan was very good. On the rear of the ship they have a large screen. This was great for watching football. Wonderful Christmas service by the Staff. We liked the crew talent show. Read Less

This was our first cruise. I was afraid I would get seasick so we chose the 3 day cruise to the Bahamas with Liberty. I did not get seasick but I hated the cruise. The balcony room was fine but needs to be updated, carpeting is bad and shower kept overflowing because the drain was slow. Left notes in the cabin but nothing was done. Food at the buffet terrible, even Guy's burgers that everyone online said was terrific. Just a greasy mess! Food in dining room was better but still not as good as the restaurants I usually go to. Very disappointed. I absolutely hated Nassau. So dirty looking and traffic was very bad. The shops were dirty and junky merchandise. We went to Atlantis and what I saw on TV was not what was really there. It may have been terrific when it opened up but it is in need of painting and updating. We went to the aquarium and was talked into paying 45 pp for a ticket to see a world famous aquarium. It was hardly anything to talk about. I am originally from Chicago and our aquarium was top of the line compared to this small aquarium. I felt sad for the fish! The one thing I hated the most was all the lines, waiting to get on,waiting to get off the ship and lines everywhere on the ship. The small pools and hot tubes always filled and looking pretty worn. The windows have NEVER been washed so even in the dining areas looking out is the pits. The other cruise ships were washing all windows but the Liberty only washed the top of the lobby and that must be years of grime on all the other windows in the ship, adding to the need to refurbish this mess of a ship. No more cruising for me. They say the longer cruises and bigger ships are even worse with the lines and for me this is not a vacation. I needed a vacation after this cruise! They need to stay in port one day in-between cruises and clean everything. Not enough time to get this ship in shape and it needs it. Carnival only cares about money and not the people using this ship. Read Less

Epic Starting with boarding-disaster/no Wheelchairs-blind people with canes all left to fend for themselves at bottom of stairs and escalator-no one organizing lines -one line became 2 th en 3 then a mob-countless people getting pushed and shoved-Utter chaos-no wheelchairs were available until after check in-took 1 hour after signing up to get it-two people came in and tried to get help for 94 year old and an 84 year old-no help at all -they had to walk-in to sign up to get a chair-10 in our group -all complained worse boarding ever? Talked to others during trip one couple with 27 cruises another with 30-we are close to 20 if u count river cruises——Platinum or plus doesn’t help outside! Toaster and coffee pot both broken on Sat Am on pool deck-toaster still broken 3 Food and service for 10 in Manhattan was very poor-many items cold or Luke warm-took forever between courses Dinner and service at Taste much better but still not hot Invited to Platinum party -went in -helped myself to wine -but no seats-we left Irish bar still the best concept yet- but service is very sketchy on the side with the pool tables-u have to flag people down and the 20 min before u get a drink—then the menu is different on the other side-both sides should be identical-I do not know whose brilliant idea that concept was -but forget it-open the whole thing up-with all the people on this ship the Irish Bar should be open on both sides-this waiting 25 min is crazy also could use one more facility of that size-maybe Italian or Greek or mixture of both/“Mediterranean Delight” Premium liquor package-somehow managed to drop Makers Mark off the list-Grey goose still on-totally arbitrary-like trying to squeeze two Buffalo nickels together to get a dime-come on -Premium is premium-stop the nickel /dime stuff-it demeans you! Pool way to small-both of them! Elevators-only 2 sets should be 3-a long wait always Service in the food areas very chaotic and inconsistent-Taste good -Manhattan terrible-Why? Now Disembarkation-rented a wheelchair from u for last 3 days-was told I could have an Escort to push the chair from my room to beyond passport -then the daily news says u can’t-so I call the desk and they say I can’t-so I told them to go across to Hotel Services and check it out-he comes back all surprised that I do have someone coming to get me-so I get a call before 7 am saying he is on the way and should he bring a wheelchair-we say no because I have one I rented from u-boy was that a mistake/ we get to gangway checkout and are told we cannot go any further with that wheelchair we have to get another one to go down the ramp-so we hold up the whole line for 15 min-then the guard checks our ship cards-mine is not working and he thinks I should go back and get a new one-my wife said no way-use hers-so finally we leave-getting over to the landslide and have to wait for a land-side pusher to take us through customs-which he did After a 20 minute wait-So we had a disastrous time on both loading and unloading. Also many times the people in our group of 10 were told one thing by one person and the opposite by another-not once or twice but many times-almost to please us with an answer-right or wrong! Most of Bar waiters and bartenders were top notch but especially if they were tipped -now this next thing I don’t know who to blame-Ordered a Southern Comfort Manhattan with sweet vermouth and a dash of bitters on the rocks-a standard for over a century-I got SC on the rocks-SC with red coloring-a glass of SC and a glass of Vermouth (mix my own I think)-the variety was amazing including a few drinks Straight Up instead of on the rocks!- Read Less

I booked this cruise for my family because I'd had really good experiences with Norwegian. This was quite the exception. From the start of having no one to greet us to taking 3 hours to get on the ship due to lack of employee knowledge, system errors and just plain laziness, to the room flooding, to having no accessibility in the room for my handicapped dad to the wheelchair that was recommended by ncl's rental company not fitting in the room to poor customer service. This was the worst cruise I'd been on. After all the things that happened my parents were given $100 each on board credit. The food, food staff, ports, shows and room attendants were very lovely but the customer service desk used standard lines and showed no comparison. They knew a water pipe burst at 8pm and didn't bother to check the rooms. Then they expected my elderly parents to walk in the water throughout the night because they weren't going to fix it until the morning. If you are staying with a friend in the room beware that there is no privacy for showers and bathroom except a curtain and then you can't leave the room if the other is in the shower. Awkward. We planned this cruise for about a year and was so excited to see Cuba before it became "Americanized." This particular cruise was the only one that fell within our timeline for our group. The embarkment and disembarkment at Port Canaveral were fantastic. When we walked onto the ship, there was no one to greet us or direct us. We simply wondered the ship - checking it out. We joined the cruise director who was giving a tour of the ship. Our luggage arrived timely. Our room was small but clean. Good thing it had been cleaned before we arrived because our steward did not touch it again. The towels were left laying on the floor for days, and we eventually ran out. The food was left in our room. No tidying up at night time and no towel animals. The food on the ship was less than satisfactory. The few restaurants included in the reservation had only a few choices. It was the same food each day. The wait staff was so rude. They would literally take the plate out from us while eating. They cleaned our tables while we were still eating. The other restaurants on board were pricey. Alcohol was complimentary and a wide variety was available. The ship's customer service center lacks professionalism. They act like they are bothered if they have to answer a question. The bars and entertainment were good. The casino was just ok. The cruise director and staff were fun. Shows were professional. Entertainment was offered nightly, except for the overnight in Cuba. Half of the crew was given leave to go enjoy Cuba. That is great for them, but a lot of the ship was closed and service was slow because few staff members were left on board. Speaking of Cuba - don't go! It is just filthy. Bathroom facilities are non-existant. The "restaurants" are so dirty that we didn't eat or drink while ashore. We had to take our own toilet paper and drinking water from the ship. Make sure you attend the seminar on what to do and not to do while in Cuba. The locals were not friendly. There was no place to shop. It is stiffling hot and there is no breeze. The stinch from sewage in the streets is nasty. Some areas are great, but other areas are not. The women and children were begging for money and some were charging $5 to take pictures of them. We went on the cigar, rum and art excursion. It was interesting. We bought cigars, rum and coffee while on the tour because of price and quality. Our souvenirs were purchased from the ship giftshop because there was nothing to buy downtown. If you do decide to go, hold tightly onto your valuables while out and about in Cuba. Read Less

Where do i begin. As we planned for the holidays for a 6 room trip with the family, we were pretty excited. Since day 1 nothing went as planned. We were all supposed to have anytime dining and they checked us in different times and didn't sit us at the dinner table together as a family. Secondly, one of our rooms was a complete disaster. The fire hydrant went off all over our bed, so instead of staying on the island we had to stay in our room to wait for crew to come fix it. They were little concerned about the inconvenience and the manager only cared to know "how many pieces of clothing was sprayed and to let him know tomorrow when he came back". He did not ever come back. After that, our bathroom toilet decided to overflow when we were not in the room and went all over our personal belongings in the bathroom. Not a single apology and when we finally decided to complain, they said they were "working on issues and to not flush anything but toilet paper". Basically implying we flushed something down the toilet? That was another day wasted trying to get our room situated. As a family, we decided to do shore excursions through caribbean. Particularly, snorkeling where we booked a "pirate ship" where a treasure hunt and turtles in water were promised as apart of the excursion. Not only was there not pirate ship, we were told there hasn't been anything like that in the water and we would not see any turtles at this time. Why would they sell us a package for that? So we thought, ok we wont do that excursion and get a refund as the represented promised they would do for inconvenience. So we went to guest services, where they did not refund the entire purchase but a measling $7 per ticket. The excursion was $70 a piece and we had 11 people for labadee snorkling. How is that acceptable? We also booked snorkling on st. Thomas in which they prompted us to the location or we would miss it. The excursion then advised us to wait patiently, 2 hours later our grandfather passes out and has a heat stroke. They promised we would have beverages and on the boat in less than 10 minutes. After we got our grandfather back to the boat, they advised us they werent taking us to island and little to no fish were even in the waters since the hurricane irma. Again, how is that acceptable practice to sell excursions that they know they aren't providing? Thats called false advertisement. We wouldnt have cared if they refunded us the full amount for 11 people on both excursions. They just refunded 1 and $7 dollars off $70 per person on the other after being promised they would take it off. basically robbed us of $693 dollars while causing a heat stroke to a grandfather. in all of my years as a business owner and working in federal government, i have never see a cruise liner not fix a ugly situation like this. Between all of us, we have completed well over 100 cruises and may never return to royalcaribbean. Only positive, was dinner staff. Even some of the shows were cancelled due to malfunctions. Incredible! Lastly, when they came and santizied our bathroom, my wife had a chemical reaction to chemicals used and not properly removed!! Read Less

We have sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past. And we like their customer service both dining room and house cleaners. A wonderful experience. Because of the staff of Royal Caribbean we will stay loyal to Royal Caribbean. We enjoyed the shows, dinner and other entertainment. Meet lots of nice folks while relaxing by pool side and dinner. Looking forward to our next cruise. Our best experience was the dining area. The waiters at table 672 made dinner most enjoyable. So I will add that the pool area was always clean.... my only complaint was getting on board the ship. folks still leaving at 11:00 AM and we could not get a porter so we carried our own luggage on. Life would have been easier had the ported did the work. Hope it will be easier getting on the next cruise. Cape Canaveral is our favorite port. So we will be doing most of our sailing out of there. We chose this cruise because Wyndham Timeshare owners are now forced to use Norwegian as their only choice when using their timeshare points to book. This was the worst cruise we have ever taken. This ship has too many guests and not enough staff to take care of them. Even the ship's captain and crew admit that the guest to crew ratio is far below what they have on their smaller ships!! We had to wait 20+ minutes every time we wanted a drink from a bar when we were at sea, totally ridiculous. The food was average at best except for their Brazilian style specialty restaurant which was excellent and the service was outstanding. The mini-suite was much smaller than what we had experienced on other cruise lines. Many other problems happened to us while on this cruise. Trying to get to guest services was another extremely long wait due to very long lines and ONE person to take care of 4000 guests for internet issues, how absurd is that!! Not to mention that the internet was painfully slow!! We marked entertainment as average because all of the good shows were sold out on the first day of the cruise, again too many guests for the services offered/provided!! Read Less

We have been a big fan of cruising and have been on more than twenty. Our Family wanted to do a Holiday Cruise and this one was available for the Thanksgiving Holiday. While enroute to the port we received a message from NCL not to arrive before 2:00 PM. Pretty hard to change your flights and travel arrangements to the port at that time so arriving at 10:00 we were processed in. We were then told that since it would be a few hours until we could board that they had arranged a shuttle to take us to a nearby shopping area with restaurants and such and that upon returning we could just board the ship. That turned out to be not the case! No way was anyone going to let us even enter the terminal even with our #3 boarding card. We had to stand in line in the hot sun for another couple of hours and go through the process again. Then when I got to last security check point the agent sent me back to the terminal as he said my card was not operating. Was a bad start and it only got worse. The ship was totally overloaded. Lines for everything including the elevators and up charges that we had never heard of before. We were only able to use the dinning room twice as it had previously been booked and only able to see one show and had to stand for that one as all had been booked prior to embarkation. Coffee was not served in the dinning room or even asked if it was desired however alcoholic drinks were. Had to ask for bread. The poor food service personnel were totally overloaded and spread way too thin. Tendering was another matter. Our group had a 9:00 AM reservation. While part of us made it the other half were asked to stand by in the dinning room until called. They waited three hours and thus only had a couple hours to enjoy the island. We were charged the full gratuity for the embarkation day even though we only were on board a small portion of the day and no full meals and on-board credit cannot be used for your gratuities. We have been on more than 20 cruises including NCL but this by far was our worst experience and it is very unlikely that we would choose NCL again. I'm from Florida. The embarkation and disembarkation was lengthy and confused. The ship was not as clean as one would expect. The cabin linen looked used and poorly cared for. The staff was never pleasant and seem angry most of the time. The main dining room was a joke. The soup tasted like it came from a can. The lobster was grey and rubbery. The lava cake was passable. The food in the buffet was inedible most of the time. The servers portioned out small amounts of beef and turkey. The desserts were amateurish at best. Guy's Burgers and the Pig and Anchor were horrifically bad. People threw away most of the Pig and Anchor food - it was that bad. The entertainment, which used to be passable, was reduced to a single guy playing a guitar too loud. The shows were just as bad. Overall, the whole cruise reeked of a company that was cutting costs anywhere they could and the passengers could take the hindmost. There was this constant drum late in the night over the loudspeakers to spend more money. They even put a charge on my bill for things I did not do. Read Less

Excellent food and service in the dining room. Everywhere else on the ship was utter chaos. Poor security control on boisterous and inappropriate actions of large groups sailing together. Very poor plumbing. All areas were severely understaffed. While waiters, servers, and other crew members attempted to work very quickly and were polite and friendly, they could not keep up with demand. There were several groups on this sailing that became overly raucous and rude, were overly scantily clothed, and were groping in public areas. We did not see any enforcement of rules or common decency. The Adventure Ocean Program was excellent, and I am thankful my granddaughter had a safe place to enjoy age appropriate activities in the evenings. She was very uncomfortable with behavior she saw in public areas, and the cabin was too small for three people to spend time in. Manicurist was very accommodating in the spa, with my 11 year old granddaughter, although there was a bride in the salon at the time, getting her hair done for her wedding that day, who described to all, using profanity, a physical altercation she had the evening before in the hot tub area, with a 17 year old youth. Overall this was not the experience we had planned for our granddaughter's first cruise. Read Less

We were hoping to be at a large table so we could meet new friends, instead the four of us was at a small crowded table in behind a wall. We were celebrating our son and wife's 36th wedding anniversary and I told the ship about it before boarding, but they did nothing. The food service was great but need more variety in the dining room. I was amazed how 6500 people was serviced all of that food. The crew did a wonderful job with the cabins everything was very clean and in place. We all enjoyed the Come Fly with me show and the diving show, lots of talent. We would cruise on the Oasis of Sea again with out hesitation. The pilot did a wonderful job and it was easy to forget that you were on a cruise ship. Read Less

My past cruises on Royal have been wonderful. I was very disappointed in this cruise. Not the same quality of food, cleanliness, friendly staff. Shows were not good, not up to the quality of previous cruises What happened to Midnight Buffett??? Tried to order room service several times, they sneer answered the phone. After staying up late we always wanted something to eat. Room service would have been nice. Please bring back midnight Buffett! I always looked forward to seeing the ice sculptures. The past shores have been very good This time we left because the were not very entertaining. The 70-80's party was the on,y one we enjoyed. Oh my gosh, what happened to Bingo. The one game only and the amount it cost I'd ridiculous! Please bring back true bingo My husband passed away 4 weeks prior to our cruise. My daughter and I were so looking forward to a trip to relax, renew, and come back ready to move forward with our life. Would have been nice if we could have enjoyed it more p Read Less

This cruise had three parts for me, the beginning, the middle and the end. Luckily the middle, the cruise was great. The food was excellent, staff were welcoming and seemed happy with guests and co workers, ship was beautiful and everything aboard was wonderful. The beginning and ending at the port was quite another story. Getting on the ship and off was horrendous. We left our hotel, which was within sight of the ship at noon and finally after being backed up in traffic and standing in the sun at the port for over three hours, got on board at 3:30. We were exhausted. Same thing as we disembarked, we left the ship in a timely manner, around 9:30 and stood in line to go thru customs for nearly two hours. After finally making it thru the slowest customs lines imaginable, due to the terrible traffic jams we waited another hour for our ride back to the parking lot to our car. We loved the Epic but would never cruise on another ship from Port Canaveral. Read Less

Prior cruise on Epic 4 yrs ago was outstanding. On this cruise cabins seemed smaller. Bar staff was missing in action. Often had to search for server or go to bar. In casino server would take order from person next to me, ignore me. I am short, not invisible. Opposite side of ship got clean up early, our side late in day, couple of times clean up and turn down same time. Only 3 stops this cruise. Too much time in a tortilla with nothing to do. St Thomas, only a few hours, leaving port 1:30. Their private islane, the whole day with no shopping except local straw. Guess they wanted us to spend our $$ ON THEIR events, snorkling, etc. We wanted to at least see what you think was there but at noon we tried to get off. Went to aft, no getting off. Called operator, told to go forward, went forward, no getting off. Asked how do we get off? Told go somewhere else. Finally, after walking length of ship twice we gave up. Embarkation was slow, long time in line, no line for silver, gold or platnium. Debarkation was a breeze. Overall, we would still cruise on Epic again, just not the ship and service as 4 years ago. We still love freestyle on NCL and will cruise again. Smokers have more freeom on Epic, 15th deck one side. On Getaway only tiny enclosed space for smokers, like going into smoke cloud, cough, cough. Cirque show was fabulous. Well worth the price strength and agility of performers truly spectaclur.. fun and entertaing. Epic Beatles good show, you could tell who was supposed to be who friends raved about Pricilla, cried! Read Less

Friends that have traveled on NCL invited us on this New Year's Eve.cruise Worst NYE we have ever spent. One glass of champagne and about 100 balloons drop. Cheap hats and noisemakers. From day one we knew we were gonna have trouble when we were boarding , very long lines and someone stopped the escalator while we were on it causing people to fall forward. Now we see our inside cabin(we always book). Shower & toilet separated by a curtain from the bed. Room was dark not enough light anywhere to put on makeup. We found the staff had attitude and were not helpful (you think it was their first day). We had dinner in 5 specialty restaurants, portions small. When I ordered a lobster tail for a $29 up charge it was tough and tasteless. When I told the person in charge he asked for my room number & said he would take it off the bill (he didn't). No quiet place to read, not enough lounges to talk, and don't know why I packed a bathing suit. Found the restrooms dirty,no soap in dispensers & no ply toilet paper. Except for a few trivia games not much to do during the day. This was my 43 cruise, my first with NCL & unfortunately my last. Read Less

Been going on royal for 20 years. This had to be the worst been on. From the back up of drainage in bathroom to bad attitudes from a few crew members. The safe didn't work, asked several times to get it fixed, never happened. Plus getting into Nassau was a chore. You had to fight off the tour operators to get to the city to go shopping. It seems like t gets worse every time I go to Nassau. The shows were ok. But seemed like all entertainment was not well planned out. Food left a lot to be desired, bland and not good presentation. Getting off the ship was another chore. Crew did not have it together to help keep it smooth. I saw 4 guests fall and only 1 had a crew member or officer make sure they were all right. The other 3 had crew and officers walk by and didn't stop to see if the guest was alright. Read Less

Received cruise as a gift, been on RCL many times all wonderful. This boat is a disaster. From when we got on, until when we got off, was disgusting. Entered the Windjammer, sat down and chair arms came apart, saw this several times during this trip, day before we left in Windjammer, chair actually broke off and nearly fell. Food there excepting fish and chips worse than Golden Corral. Room passable except for rotten food/fruit smell we could not get rid of. Better bring lots room freshener, several floors smelled like raw sewage, our table mates had to have their rooms changed. Several people complained about odor. Carpets are filthy and hallway walls filthy. The only plus on trip was the room steward who did everything he could for us. Dining room old, dated and devoid of any flavor, not at all like other RCL cruises.servers do not understand English, very hard to converse with. Tried to order room service, no rye bread, chocolate milk, salmon, iced tea. Biggie, if you are handicapped no way to reach 12th floor, stairs only or walk length of ship all the way around. CococAy no handicap place to sit , made me walk stairs. Plenty of big wheelchairs for beach but no one to push them. While eating breakfast in Dining Room, huge commotion saying Bravo, staging area etc, emergency words, everyone thought fire until after all sirens and tell.g the crew to move everyone to Dining room said it was a drill. Should have prefaced it before. We are not complainers but this boat ( I refuse to call it a ship) needs to be put to sleep. Lots more to say , all negative, avoid this ship at all costs. Read Less
