Fun and relaxing at an astonishing low price

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Sun

We are not at all brand loyal in cruising. Internet search engines and fate decide where and when we cruise. We are very old fashioned though- ballroom dancing, libraries and walk around promenade decks are a huge draw. Low prices are important for me – and I am fine with an ocean view cabin (for the record DW prefers a balcony). The idea is if the price is low enough we can go more often. ...

Great Cruise, Don’t know why other reviewers complained so much

Just walked off the Sun after our 5 day Western Caribbean cruise, and after reading so many other reviews, I’d love to know how miserable all the other reviewers are or must be in their daily lives. This cruise, our cabin, the ship, the crew, the excursion we went on, the food, the drinks, everything was outstanding. The main dining room provided amazing food for us on a daily basis, our steward, ...

We arrived at the port at 10:50 and were on the ship by 11:00. We just got our Platinum status so that may have played a part in the quick embarkation, but it didn't look like anyone was waiting overly long. We knew from cruising a mega ship earlier to pre-book entertainment the second you get on the ship so we did that via the numerous touch screens located throughout the ship. She was easy ...

Surprisingly Amazing

This was my 28th Cruise, but first on NCL and I was surprised with my experience, considering the negative reviews I read before booking and sailing. We invited a recently widowed friend as our 3rd person, so we decided to book a Penthouse Suite. We sailed in room 9202, which also accommodated my special needs father in his scooter. Our butler, Francis and Concierge Armando made this cruise nearly ...

NCL booked all of our flights and transfers. They booked us a non-stop from Boston to Orlando, but our return flight stopped at JFK on the way back. There were dozens of non-stop flights from Orlando to Boston that day at a similar price - not sure why NCL picked the flight thru JFK that got us home hours 2-3 later. We flew into Orlando the day before our cruise and stayed at a Hampton Inn ...

A little piece of paradise

We took a eastern Caribbean cruise which went to Tortolla, St Thomas and Great Stirrup Cay. As, always, we choose to stay in The Haven. It is well worth the extra money and takes all the hassles out of cruising. Embarkation is a breeze and once we made it trough security, our check in took less than ten minutes. We were escorted directly to the Haven area. We met our butler and then went to the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Me and my wife sailed with Carnival on board the Breeze In November 2019 for our honeymoon. We had a room on the first floor with an ocean view. The cruise was 7 days and we enjoyed every second of it. The staff was not only amazing but by the second day they had already remembered both of our names and what we liked to order. The food was outstanding and the dining room staff was always so ...

The ship was very clean and I appreciate the crew manning the buffets to spray every single person's hands with sanitizer. People are gross and I'm positive the majority of them had no intention of washing their hands before handling serving utensils that a thousand other people would need to use too. There were even hand washing stations in the buffet areas and I never witnessed anyone, other ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We sailed on Mariner of the Seas over the Thanksgiving holiday. We are a family of four, with kids ages 6 and 9. We had perfectly fabulous time. We really enjoy cruising and have been on several cruise lines, but we really prefer RCI. I’ve read some pretty bad reviews of Mariner; I really think those folks are grumpy. We sailed on Mariner 13 years ago. She is a little older, but still in ...

We drove down from the Atlanta area on Saturday, November 23 and checked into the Country Inn and Suites. We reserved the Cruise Park and Stay package, which I highly recommend if you drive in. We wanted a little down time before we sailed away on Monday for our Thanksgiving cruise. We played Putt-Putt, shopped, went to the beach, etc. Great hotel, great staff. I recommend going to Preacher Bar ...
