We have been cruising for 15 years and this is the first time that I am writing a review. It has been over 5 years since we last cruise with Royal caribbean. We have been on Disney and NCL for the past 5 years. This cruise left a lot to be desired. We were very disappointed.
First, let me start by saying that upon our arrival (passed 3pm) the restaurant was closed. There was no snack food during off hours available. There was a huge delay to get into the ship and Royal Caribbean did not accommodate for that. We have 5 year old and a 3 year old that were standing outside for hours waiting for customs to let the passengers through.
Customer Service: It seems as if Royal Caribbean was either very short on staff or they just failed to train their staff. Customer service was lacking. During breakfast, no one approached us to ask us if we needed a coffee refill. No one approached me to ask me if I needed help when I was carrying 2 plates with food on one hand and my 3 year on another hand. Even when we decided to have a sit down breakfast, no one came to take our order. We had to serve ourselves.
Pool service: NONE. We had to go to the bar and ask for drinks. No snack food outside
H2O zone for kids: This was the second reason to choose this ship and my kids were unable to use this pool. It was freezing.
Food quality: Bad. No variety available. They had american food and indian food available. The desserts were aweful. The only good food we had during the 5 days is when we paid extra for the steak restaurant.
Cabin: good size. We had 2 connecting balcony rooms. However, the quality of the towels was terrible. So rough
 

Liberty of the Seas - Poor quality of service

I cruised on the Liberty 4 times, with my boyfriend.
I love the ship is not too big and not too small. I have been on the Allure 4 times and the Quantum b2b, still this is my favorite ship. mostly for being the right size.
I enjoy the royal promenade immensely, love to the feeling that I"m on a mall when in the mood of shopping.
The crew is everything you expect of a RCCL staff member, cordial, pleasant and very attentive.
Activities are wonderful, never a dull moment.
Saturday night Fever is a wonderful show.
The dining room is like going to an upscale restaurant every night, the staff treats you like royalty.
The casino is so much fun!
this is my dream vacation, and i'm booking it for the October 22 10 nights from Cape Liberty, with my daughter and 2 grand kids.
 

Liberty is my favorite ship.

Just got off of the Liberty, cruised with RCCL before and brought 4 other ladies that had not. We had the prem drink pkg (recommed) I don't care what size of tip you were waving it was very hard to get a drink, not the greatest bartenders. Saw every night in the MDR at least 2-4 staff members picking their nose (not ours he was wonderful). Elevators?? why bother, your better off with the stairs. Would ask differnt staff where things were some didn't know and those that told you you felt like you were bothering them.
The ship it self is amazing, very dissapointed in the staff. Labadee beaches were beautiful, but very rocky walking into the water. Took a tour of Montego Bay and shopped, had a great time. Getting on and off the ship took about an hour not bad considering the amount of people. Don't think I would cruise on the Liberty again.
