From other cruisers we heard that Royal Caribbean was one of the best. Not one word was true about this. This was our 6th. cruise and were previously 3 times on HAL, one on Carnival and one Princess (our very best so far). First of all RC is the worst rip off cruise line we had.
Let' some it up.
Room service and overall crew: Excellent
Entertainment: Below average especially their failing ...
I would rate this in the minus if I could.
The cruise started badly with Royal caribbean's choice of Airline BA leaving all our luggage behind in Gatwick. The efforts by both BA and RCI in getting the luggage to us could only be described as pathetically laughable both did not care a toot if we got our luggage. We had n hour in Walmart on the Sunday morning nd either bought onboard or in port. ...
We will never sail on Royal Caribbean again. This was our 45th cruise and we have sailed on Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian and Holland America. We have never had an experience like we did on Freedom of the Seas. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean since 1990 so we are Crown & Anchor members. We traveled with our two daughters,- 24 and 19 years old, but they have never sailed Royal Caribbean so ...
The ship was Freedom of the Seas and the cruise date was from 04/17/2016 thru 04/24/2016. The Services provided the main dining area were terrible, and its dinner menu of fish and meat had never been changed for at least four dinners. After talking about the same menu to a service woman, they were sending three different guys to me while we were having a dinner, and the three guys were asking a ...
Where do I start? The cruise was filled to the brim, every where we went there were lines! I literally had an old lady try to kick me out of my seat at one of the shows because I was saving a seat for my family. This happened throughout the week. People cutting in lines, pushing their way to get to the front to eat. I felt like I was in Walmart all week with a bunch of trashy, low-class, poorly ...
I will let you know, I came into this cruise thrilled! I could not have been more excited - out of the cruises I have taken, Royal Caribbean was the top of the top - and I could not wait to go back. After 7 nights on Freedom of the Seas - All I will say, is 'never again.' Anything that could have been wrong was - and any chance of them making things right, were passed on. Let me start out by ...
I knew going into this (won trip from work) that cruising was not my thing. But, oh well it is free and I was bring my sister as I had one for two. Then the nightmare begins. The first night is the main dinning room was the start. NY strip steak was on the menu. We both ordered it. I have never been served a 1/4 inch steak..I was shocked!!! The food for the entire cruise was one step above ...
I just experienced my first Royal Caribbean cruise on Freedom of the Seas last week and I must say my experience was nothing like I heard from friends and had read in the reviews. It was more like the cruise from Hell, if this had been my first cruise experience it would be my last. The Nor virus was definitely present from the vomiting in the main pool to the diarrhea left in the hallway in front ...
Having cruised with RC before and enjoyed it when my sister in law asked if they could join us for new year on the Freedom of The Seas we had no hesitation in saying yes and that we would have a wonderful time. HOW WRONG WAS I. We received an e-mail 24 on Christmas Eve the day before we left informing us of a change of itinerary. The result being that we spent less time in all the scheduled ports. ...
Summary
-----------
Never again will I cruise with Royal Caribbean.
First of all, RCI did not inform us passengers on the Dec 7th cruise that our time at each port would be shortened until we were just about boarding the ship. They already knew the ship had mechanical issues so they should have told us passengers way ahead of time. This is unacceptable for a company of this size.
Second, RCI ...
