This was the first cruise that we have ever taken. My wife and I and our two 19 year old children. We had 2 cabins next to each other, each with a balcony. We don't have anything to compare the cruise to so this is just a listing of what we liked and didn't like. The great: The staff is very well trained. In particular we were impressed with our room steward and the wait staff in the main ...

This was my third cruise, but first on RCCL. I will NEVER sail on RCCL again unless someone I know and trust can assure me that they have done a full overhaul of their ships and crew training. The positives: Alberto and Davon were our dining room servers and they were AWESOME. Fast and friendly service, very efficient and professional. The strawberry bisque was sensational. Our cabin ...

The food in the restaurant was very good and the wait staff (after our first night) were amazing. The ship is definitely showing its age in spite of the rehab in 2005. The Windjammer buffet does not have enough seats (but we rarely ate there) although we preferred to eat in the little cafe in the solarium or the restaurant. Our stateroom (8152) was a Jr suite and roomy enough for the 3 of us but ...

My last cruise on RCL was an 11-day cruise on December, 2012 in the Southern Caribbean. First off, I traveled alone for the first time since I booked this cruise on the spur of the moment. My DW did not wish to accompany me on such short notice.. I drove to Port Canavaral from North Carolina, spending the night in Ormand Beach, Fl. I used off-site parking that whisked me to the terminal quickly. ...

The inaugural cruise from Port Canaveral was the main reason for the cruise. No fanfare aboard, no recognition that this was the inaugural cruise. Other than that, the cruise was very nice. The Captain , Gus, has a great sense of humor; his officers mingeled freely with the passengers; the crew was helpful and friendly. Food at the buffet was typical buffet food. Only 'complaint' was that no lox ...

Arrived at Fll airport , met with RC Rep at the airport for transfer, arrived at pier , check in was a breeze , as we had already done the set sail pass.Got on the ship, went straight to room, it was really nice , as we had booked room 2568 which was oceanview, and had been upgraded to 7618 which is a superior oceanview, with balcony. Was a wonderful surprise. We then went to chops , booked ...
