The MDR service was good but the food was just not edible. The saving grace was the dessert. My mom ordered a NY steak strip medium, however it was more like a skirt steak and it was well done and tough. I ordered chicken on two nights and both nights the chicken texture and flavor was not good.
Even for breakfast our toast was not toasted, it was still soft.

This was our first time on one of NCL's larger ships - and may be our last. The layout of the Escape leaves something to be desired, because when ship is at full capacity it's hard to even walk properly on some decks. Overall good experience on my wife and I 2nd NCL cruise. Surprisingly very friendly staff made up for some minor flaws in the overall experience. No matter what cruise lines we vacation with, each has its pros/cons.
Pros:
- Boarding around 12:30 pm was pretty swift and was on the ship pretty early.

I personally am not a Norwegian cruise line fan. My 1st Cruise with them was on the Escape.
Staff is amazing and accommodating. My Room Stewart was awesome. His name is Jairo. The wheelchair assistance help is also amazing. Her name was Jahnicia. Forgive me if I spelled her name wrong.
