Awesome Cruise!!
"This was my second Carnival cruise, but the first for my husband and kids. I was very discouraged after the switch from Valor to Liberty, and the bad Liberty reviews didn't help at all. Every week I would visit..."Read More

My sister and I had both never been on a cruise and decided we would try one together since noone else in either of our families want to go. We had a great price and I got some on board credit with my purchase so I was happy. We embarked in about 20 minutes. No issues at all. I was nervous what to expect and other than the fact that the security people from the port were a little rude (think ...

Overall I enjoyed this cruise experience. Some things I really enjoyed about the Carnival Liberty were: 1) The inside stateroom (8250) was plenty roomy enough and everything worked as it should. Some newer ships have much smaller inside rooms, but on the Liberty it was a perfect size. Not cramped for 2 adults. I also like that you can order a 12 pack of water prior to the cruise for a ...

We were a group of couples. The ship is very nice with lots for young people to do. We are experienced cruisers and our favorite is Princess as Royal Caribbean has too many children on board. But let me give you the good and bad, in my opinion. We needed wheelchairs since having recent surgery. The wheelchair service was excellent but be sure to sign up. Don't worry about the time frame as ...

Ship needs refurbishment badly. Rips, tears and holes in furniture throughout. Stained, dirty upholstery. Ripped, stained, faded flooring throughout. Chipped and peeling paint throughout. Broken window in the Silver dining room. Decor is very old, odd colors, strange designs. Water shut off during lunch hours two days into the trip for floors 8&9. 9 is Lido, the buffet. Sewer problem 1st ...

We are Royal Caribbean loyalist but have also sailed on Carnival and Disney ships. Frankly all have their advantages and different price points, but RC seems to bring the best value for the dollar. We sailed on Mariner many years ago and chose her because the short itinerary and stop in the new Coco Cay was appealing to us. Our four night trip overall was very good. Friendly staff and a ship that ...

We choose this cruise because it was an affordable quick getaway. Have been on the same RC ships several times and we wanted to be on a ship that was new to us. Carnival had a cruise that met our needs so we booked it. We had been given a boarding time of 12:30pm because we had booked the cruise so late but when we arrived at 10:45am, we were allowed to board almost immediately. The buffet ...

We chose this cruise for our Anniversary since it left out of Port Canaveral. This is my third Carvnival cruise and have cruised on most other lines. We have been to the Bahamas but not overnight. The Liberty is a very nice ship. It was well decorated and did not appear to need updates as other reviews have noted. There was plenty of places to sit and relax. The pool area was laid out very ...

Because I'm at Disney twice a year and because I don't like to fly just to get on my cruise, I booked this as a short trip for me and my adult children between days at Disney. I have some pretty severe back issues, and had reserved a scooter on embarkation. I also advised CCL that I had a CPAP unit. The price I paid was excellent for 3 people in an Ocean Suite. We are veteran cruisers of several ...

This was my first time cruising, so had nothing to compare it to, but have since been on the Adventure of the Seas. I booked this reservation through MGM as a comp. I prepaid the gratuities, which I much prefer. Unsure if I have an option to do that, or if it's just added on the bill now. Ship: I thought it was gorgeous, well kept, nothing negative to say. It could have been the timing ...

My mother and I take this cruise every year twice a year. This is our first time being disappointed. Our 5:30 seating turned to MTD when the host grabbed my card out of my hand and used a sharpie to write "MTD" on it (he said I only booked 5 months in advance so we didn't deserve 5:30 dining??). There were lines for everything without any consideration for the elderly. This is the first time ...
