This was my first cruise on NCL. I usually cruise Royal Caribbean or Celebrity. I was a little apprehensive when I booked this cruise since I've been on NCL. Overall, my family had the greatest time, on and off the ship! It was perfect for the eight adults - schools were in session so there were almost no children on board. The evening activities were lots of fun. Karaoke was great and it was crowded each evening. Fun way to have late night entertainment.

We wanted to see Havanna so this was the best way. We loved the balcony room. Embark and disembark smooth. Only issue you weren't informed which floor to embark. We just happened to follow people to correct level in Key West. In Havanna we could see from our balcony where to go. Arriving back at port Canaveral info sheet said 7:30am to disembark. Apparently, being from the Northeast, I was unaware of a delightful thing known as a “swarm of love bugs”. They were positively everywhere. Inside, outside, in staterooms and dining rooms. Some even survived for several days.
Needless to say, the first day was shockingly bad.
I am not sure what could have been done differently, but this was outrageously bad.

My wife chose this cruise as she wanted to visit Havana, Cuba. We arrived the morning of departure but didn't check in at the boat until 1pm. Lines were just getting busy. They moved quickly and we were on board after about 15-20 minutes inside the terminal getting our room keys/info.
