This was my first Norwegian cruise an I enjoyed every minute. The cruise staff was excellent and so accommodating and friendly . I’ve been on over 12 cruises and I have to say, it’s the best so far. The food was excellent with so many delicious choices. I looked forward to hopping up to the bar at Spice H20. Jerry and Vitas were the most fun and friendly bartenders I ever met. They were so ...

Since I used this site to read reviews prior to our cruise I wanted to be sure to leave a review of my own. We were a group of 13. Everything went very well. There is not one thing I would complain about. Reading some of the previous reviews it seems that some people like to complain about petty things. During our cruise we witnessed some of those people. One guest returned to his table with a ...

I highly recommend the escape for your next or very first cruise. I had my very first cruise on this ship and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Jack the cruise director and his staff were super engaged with passengers which made going to different events very enjoyable. I recommend booking the Mexican cuisine workshop and tasting at Playa Mia in Cozumel it was my favorite excursion that I ...

Disregard the negative reviews

This was our first cruise and NCL has made us return customers. I had read some of the reviews on this site prior to sailing and was a little concerned! After our 7 days, there was absolutely nothing bad enough that would keep us from coming back. The highs: the staff, the activities for kids (ours are 2 & 4), the rooms, the cleanliness, the constant cleaning, the food, the itinerary, ship ...

Stop slamming the Epic, its a great ship!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Not sure why this ship gets so much heat on here, I regretted reading this a few days before the cruise. Yes its a quirky ship, but its really quite a fun one too. The Caribbean sailings have been full at capacity, so of course there have been some lines. Famously the upstairs wave bar, but the bartenders work very quickly and work very very hard. Serving multiple people at one time, the lines ...

Outstanding experience on all levels

This ship surpassed all of our expectations. Ports were awesome, St. Thomas was beautiful and so was Great Stirrup Cay. DR port had a great pool and lazy river. Not too many food options that were not American faves at ports, so we just ate back on the ship! Tortola was nice for shopping, did not do excursion or beach there. Pool could be bigger. The Food and service was the best we have ...

Cruising is back – easily one of my best and most enjoyable cruises!

This was cruise #9 for me, #6 with Norwegian and my first time on the Escape. This was a full-occupancy+ cruise, with ~4800 passengers and 1600 crew. The Breakaway class is really the perfect balance of everything you need in cruising and the ship’s public spaces are big enough that you never feel crowded. Check-in at the port was a breeze. I basically did not stop moving, with staff helpfully ...

I usually cruise Virgin (2x) , and i needed a getaway on something different. NCL Escape was so much fun,as soon as you find where you're going. Food was good, too . I only ate at The Garden Cafe. There was plenty for everyone there . Entertainment was top notch. The 2 comedians i saw,and especially the Fleetwood Mac band and The quartet ' Blue Travelers' They were amazingly good. I loved the vibe ...

Excellent cruise-all worries overstated

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

We took our first transatlantic cruise and had two rooms for a family of seven. We haven’t cruised since before Covid. Based on the reviews I was quite worried. Concerns were all overstated. I am at a loss for all the negative reviews. As far as I can tell, some people just cannot create their own fun. I was worried about overcrowding. Nothing of the sort. Granted, it was a transatlantic ...

This is our fourth cruise with NCL (Majesty, Epic, Bliss, Getaway) and we have another five already booked for the future. We love NCL because of the value, the unlimited drink package, the freestyle dining, no unexpected charges, the Latitudes program and so much more. We just became Gold -- we're a little disappointed in how little the benefits increase between Silver and Gold, but we won’t be ...
