Third time's a charm!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

This was our (my wife and myself's) third time on the Epic in as many years. The date and port were perfect and the Epic was available for sailing. There is only one gripe and an immense amount of compliments I could give the staff and ship. Let's get the gripe out of the way. During day one and two there was one, yes one, staff member roaming the lounge chair area taking drink orders in Spice ...

We had an awesome family vacation on the NCL EPIC, sailing December 15-December 22 in a 2 bedroom Haven cabin. This was our first experience in the Haven and will definitely cruise the Haven in the future. Our butler, Richard and room steward, Elisa were wonderful making sure that we had anything we needed. The second day my son ordered a turkey sandwich from room service, once Richard found out ...

Embrakment was easy and organized. We had a balcony room lots of room for two people and storage for clothes. Dining was great. Had most meals at buffet garden cafe buffet, Cagney steakhouse, Japanese hibachi and braizilian steakhouse. Service was wonderful. Guaranteed you won’t go hungry. Don’t forget to have room service at least for a late night pizza snack. Ports of call are a way to stretch ...

This was our second voyage on the Epic, it isn't may favorite ship but hey I was on a cruise so nothing to complain about. The thing I don't like about the Epic is the location of the casino and the smoky air. I wish cruise ships would put smokers in a glass room. I have breathing issues and it really bothers me. I don't understand why cruise companies would ruin their ships with smoke. We had ...

Please do not let frivolous complaints deter. The ship is impeccable.

If the worst part was the embarkation, you're fine. Food solid all around with plenty pf variety. Entertainment amazing, just make sure you reserve. Activities well planned and more than enough. Please ignore people who are never happy, complaining about stupid stuff while refusing to see the bigger picture. If you couldn't find something to eat or do on this ship, the problem is you, not the ...

NCL was having a special - (cabin prices dropping and extra perks) - so why not book? I was apprehensive about booking 10 - nights ... kept thinking to myself - I would get board and could not stand being on the ship a second longer! HOWEVER, to my surprise the 10-nights flew by and soon I had to get back to reality aka - work. EMBARKMENT: absolutely sucked! Apparently there was an ...

This was our third cruise on Epic and we’re planning another for early 2019. In order to maximize our experience on any NCL ship of this size or larger, we choose a Haven stateroom; by staying in the Haven, we reduce a mega ship into a mini ship but still have access to all that a megaship has to offer. Must commend our Butler Jensen, Room Steward Bianca, bar tenders JP, Norman, and George; ...

First time I cruised on Epic (I have cruised 60 times) I hated the ship. We went transatlantic and the ship didn't seem stable. We had an inside room which had beautiful but dark furniture, Getting the chance to sail with friends on the Epic again, I was very dubious about it but it was an 11 day Caribbean in November. To my surprise, no weighting of charges for a singles room, a big plus in ...

Boyfriend’s mom booked cruise barely a week before we set sail. From booking to disembarkation, everything was out of this world! Food was phenomenal, customer service was outstanding! Not a single thing I could complain about and the family agrees! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was consistently delicious and always different. Never had an issue with too many children although it ...

The ship was large and in good condition. The unusual bathroom layout wasn't a problem for us as it was just me and my daughter and it allowed us space to get ready in separate spaces. We dined mostly in the main dining rooms and there was always something that we liked. We have had specialty dining on prior cruises, and I thought I would get bored with the options, the it was fine. It was ...
