Great get-a-way cruise

Let me start by saying we are not fussy cruisers. My wife and I take most things in stride. If your looking for a brand new ship then cruise in a new ship. This one shows her age BUT....we had a great time. This was our 40th wedding anniversary and we were joined by my wife's twin sister and her husband doing their 38th anniversary (kids lol). We have cruised most ship from Oasis class down. We ...

We booked this cruise through the RC website, along with a Universal Orlando package. First two days were at Universal, lodging at the Hard Rock Hotel. All transportation was provided. I only mention this to say the communication aspect was kind of poor. We didn’t really get detailed instructions for the first part of the trip and had to figure things out as we went. I am comparing this to how a ...

Great cruise with wife and 19 year old daughter

I booked this cruise at the last minute, about a month before it departed as a short spring break trip for my wife and daughter who is a freshman in college. My wife and I hadn't been on a cruise in over 25 years and weren't sure what to expect or how our daughter would enjoy it, however, a good time was had by all. Getting on and off the ship was really easy. We arrived at the ship about 5 ...

Aging ship, still a great time.

My husband and I chose a short cruise on a small ship just to have a quick getaway from the freezing temperatures we have been experiencing this winter. Enchantment is clearly an older ship that could use some updating, but we had a great time and perfect weather. Port Canaveral is great, we love cruising out of this area as it is so laid back and easy to navigate. Took a shuttle from the ...

This was our 7th cruise, we have sailed Seabourn, Paul Gauguin, Holland America, carnival, and this was the third time on RCCL. It was 4 nights we were on deck 7 with a balcony. Room was as we expected, small but had plenty of storage. We also found it very quiet. We ate most meals in the main dining room and they were good, not great. The wait staff was excellent. We also enjoyed the food in the ...

We booked last minute to get on a cruise this year. This was our 11th Royal Caribbean cruise but we've never been on anything less than a 7 day itinerary. I wasn't expecting a lot, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff crammed nearly every event of a 7 day cruise into a 4 day span. Bobby the cruise director was outstanding. Entertainment was good with the headliner show very good. Coco Cay ...

Great weekend getaway!

To avoid the holiday costs we choose the weekend cruise to the Bahamas. I read some of these reviews and warned my spouse to not get his hopes up since it wasn't looking great. Getting on the ship was a breeze, we waited until later in the afternoon and avoided lines. Once on the boat, we went to our room to find the entire level 3 was locked out. This was the biggest downfall of the cruise. We ...

I was looking for a short cruise for warm weather and this did not disappoint. My last cruise was for 7 nights on the Allure and was too long for me. I drove down to Port Canaveral and parked at the port. Within 20 minutes, I was on the boat. As compared to boarding the Allure, this was great. The ship was a lot smaller than the Allure but it was not crowded. The gym was a little crowded in the ...

Best crew i've experienced. Friendly and outgoing. Enjoyed food and entertainment. Nice service. I look forward to trying royal caribbean's largest ships. Solarium was a highlight of our cruise if you don't want the noise and crowds of main pool. Great cafe there. Made to order sandwiches and salads. Buffet good, but breakfast and lunch same each day. Embarkation day you hear announcements ...

My past sailing experience was on Liberty of the Seas, a larger ship. The service with Royal Caribbean is always top notch. They really do put the passenger first. There was a nice variety of activities. Enchantment is a smaller ship so expect everything else to be smaller as well. Smaller arcade, gym, and other shop amenities. My ocean view cabin was nice. Our steward kept the room tidy and would ...
