It was been about 9 years since we have sailed on Disney and our first cruise in 2 years (since Covid). We had an amazing time. We were concerned with Covid how it would go but in typical Disney fashion it exceeded our expectations.
We arrived to the port at 11 am. After dropping our luggage, we were ushered through to Covid testing. The entire Covid testing staff role modeled the Disney ...
This was my second Disney cruise, the first was on Wonder in 2009. I had great expectations and was expecting many things after watching Youtube videos from recent sailings in February 2022. This sailing was still capacity-controlled which I felt made the trip more enjoyable. Face masks were only required in the terminal while boarding and in the Walt Disney Theatre. Unfortunately, this sailing ...
This was truly a magical experience on the Disney Dream with my family of four (with a 3 year old and 8 month old!) Every single crew member was absolutely phenomenal! Our cabin was very spacious and well maintained. One thing I particularly enjoyed is the focus this cruise line puts on guests and families. Each night at dinner, multiple servers waited on our table and played with/ entertained our ...
Embarkation went very smoothly. The line was constantly moving, and a cast member gave out forms to fill out in line to cut down on waiting time (have a working pen with you). Security screening was quick (get rid of liquids, port authority won’t let you in otherwise) and I was walking on board around noon. Disney goes out of their way to welcome you by announcing you onboard into the atrium. ...
I love Disney. Having said that, this was only my third Disney cruise and it had been at least five years since my last one. Disney cruises are expensive but they are absolutely worth it. The level of service is unbeatable. Disney goes way and beyond to make their customers happy. We got a cabin with a balcony since it was only $150 more than an inside cabin. So for us, it was definitely worth ...
Reasons why I loved this cruise:

- Castaway Cay is a stunning island...gorgeous adults only beach with a great BBQ lunch.

We are Florida residents and have a Disney Vacation Club membership. We chose the Disney Dream cruise instead of the Disney Theme Parks this year and it is an easy drive to the port. We cruise on the Disney Cruise Line usually every other year. This year, Hurricane Dorian was in the Bahamas the week before our cruise and we were stressed out from the preparations for the hurricane which had ...
We took our first ever cruise aboard the Disney Dream in September 2019 (no kids with us). After carefully reading many reviews of the different cruise lines and ships, we chose to sail Disney due to their reputation for health, safety, and service. We were not disappointed in the slightest bit! The Disney Dream is a beautiful ship, one of Disney's two larger ships. It was well maintained and ...
Free, high-quality food (except bar drinks, obviously) there were 4 restaurants on this ship. One is a buffet open only for breakfast with a wide variety of options. (Again, entry is free!) There is a grill, pizza place, and a salad bar open after breakfast and multiple soda fountains on Deck 11. The other 3 restaurants are open only for dinner except on the last day, and during dinner, you have ...
Our first Disney Cruise was on the Dream roughly 5 years ago, and this is what got us hooked on Disney Cruise. We felt it was time to revisit the Dream has it had been a while, and it now featured the much loved Beauty and the Beast show. This 3-night cruise would also have the potential to be the perfect ending to a 2-week vacation.
Ship:
The Disney Dream has a classic look. The common ...
