My wife and I had previously traveled on the Bahamas Celebration and RC Grandeur of the Seas, but now wanted to take our kids on a Disney cruise. We booked the trip in July and waited a long six months for our trip. When we arrived at the port, we had a scheduled arrival time at 10:45am and ended up pulling in around 10:15am. There were very few cars and could pull right up to have our bags ...
We had a great time on Disney Dream. Our servers were excellent - table 112 - Shanna from St. Lucia and Don (his nickmame) from Taiwan. Mahesh our room attendant was awesome too , room 10084 was a good location but right under pool deck so some noise from NYE party as expected.
Beauty and the Beast show was amazing.
New Years's Eve Fireworks and Pirate Party were a lot of fun. My girls ...
This is my first review -- so hopefully it answers some questions.
First off - if anyone has other questions, please reach out and I'll do my best to answer them.
My husband and I decided to go on this cruise -- to try it out. We had been on Princess and couldn't stand all of the nickel and dime sales pitches. We heard Disney was different and boy was everyone right.
We decided to do the ...
The Disney Dream is such a beautiful ship! Incredibly clean, smooth sailing ship with delicious meals, yummy cocktails, specifically the "drink of the day". Even with misty, rainy weather, it was a wonderful trip! This was my 1st Disney Cruise ~ such a different experence from other cruise ships because of the atmosphere being more family-friendly (no casino's and not a wild crazy party ...
My wife and I sailed on the Disney Dream the last week in Nov 2017 to Nassau and Castaway Cay. Overall it was a good cruise. We were by ourselves so will review the adult areas of the ship for those sailing without children. A Disney cruise is obviously designed for families with children ages 5-13 (in our opinion) but they also have adult areas and activities. This was our 22nd cruise overall ...
Let me start by stating that a Disney cruise is expensive, but it is not overpriced. We went on the 4-night Thanksgiving sailing from Port Canaveral. It was a fantastic trip that I thrilled to have taken with my family.
Port Canaveral
I really liked Port Canaveral with Disney's own terminal. Everything was organized and easy. Mickey and Minnie were taking photos with guests (although the ...
Disney Dream is the perfect weekend getaway for any couple. Drove from Atlanta and stayed at Port Canaveral the night before the cruise. (Highly recommend the Homewood Suites) Had a leisurely morning and headed to the boat around 11am and on-board at 11:45. (Platinum Castaway get on-board first) Lunch at Cabana's (Buffet style, Deck 11 aft), Drinks around the Adult Pool bars (Deck 11/12 ...
This was our second time on the Disney Dream and it was still just as magical as the first. The first time we went with a Disney cruise was back in January of 2017. The second time was even more spectacular than the first because we knew exactly what to expect and our way around the ship, making it much more easy going. We always sail in a deluxe stateroom with a veranda and our stateroom host is ...
We had always wished we could take a cruise aboard a Disney ship. however the price was never quit right. Finally we found a cheaper cruise and decided to go for it. It was so worth the money. The kids had so much fun and we have already booked another cruise with Disney. The embarkation was so easy, the ship was beautiful and the cabin was very spacious. The food was excellent in all 3 main ...
My family booked 3 verandah rooms all connected on deck 7 aft portside. The rooms were all spacious, including the bathrooms in which the showers and toilets were in separate rooms.Upon entering the ship we were all stunned by its majestic beauty and decor. Our Cruise was the first sailing on the Dream in over a week due to hurricane Irma.We were able to board immediately at 10:30 and went straight ...
