We expected a lot from Disney and were not disappointed. Staff are excellent, and go out of their way to make sure everyone is having the best experience possible. The food was very good, and having the servers join us in the different restaurants meant that we never needed to explain our preferences again after the first night. Breakfast and lunch were okay, but not in the same league as ...

OK, this was my 18th Cruise with Disney, I have tried others, but really prefer the family atmosphere on disney ships. I had low expectations of the ports of call (Boston, Sydney - Canada - Dublin and Liverpool) but I love a long cruise and have done two previous transatlantic cruises with Disney, and looked forward to the entertainment and service. This route took us north, but not north ...

In a nutshell: It was awesome. On a scale of 1-100, I'd give it a 97. The cruise had high expectations -- we were dipping into savings and pulling the kids (7 and 5 years old) out of school as we felt this kind of length of cruise and ports it was visiting was probably a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity on Disney (and it appears to be so. The 2016 EBTA isn't as great as itinerary, IMO) . We've ...

About me: Frequent cruiser in my 40s, traveling with a group of 20, first time on Disney (RC and Carnival in past), love to dance. Not a Disney fan in general. Was worried about boredom on 12 day Transatlantic. Most of group in early 20s. 3 teens. Before I give a general review, let me tell you about the end of our Disney cruise. Docked in Barcelona. One in party had quick flight to US. Rest of ...

This was my second TA on the Disney Magic. First time in 2011. The ship refurbishment was a big improvement. Pluses: Embarkation smooth, The new buffet at the back. The food at lunch: great shrimp , roasts, salads etc. The service. The maitre d in the dining room. Movies all day. the promenade deck. The entertainment. the adult pool.Castaway cay. Alcohol policy. Free sodas. Fabulous weather and ...

Things started to go wrong from the minute we boarded. Greeted in the Centrum and directed to the Caballeros dining room for lunch. We were shown to a table with a view and were served by a very pleasant young man. The buffet style lunch was excellent plenty of choice and nicely prepared. We decided that we would save some time and asked our server to arrange a wine package for us, which he ...

Terrific Transatlantic

Flying from the UK to Florida and staying in the airport hotel meant we were off to a relaxing start. The Disney Cruise Line Shuttle was a great way to transfer from airport to port. We checked in by 12, had a low number (2) to board and were soon announced on the ship. The preliminary look around included scoping the areas we have previously visited on our Baltic cruise. Not only did the ...
