This was a last minute cruise, also my first cruise so I didn’t know what to expect. Getting on/off the ship was a breeze. Fast service throughout the ship. The drinks were generous and the food was very satisfying. We’re low carb and there was lots to choose from. Our room was porthole/midship. Very smooth. Could hardly tell we were moving. Fairly good shopping board too. Will definitely return. ...
I chose this cruise because of the destination, Cuba. My overall experience was ok, the ship was not crowded, which was very good. The shows were good, the staff were amazing and my room staff(Jerry) was just great. However, the food. The choices were slim to none. The buffet had the same food almost everyday, I have been on two other Norwegian cruises previously and the food was amazing and lots ...
Chose this cruise mainly due to school calendar and port of Canaveral as I always wanted to see the Kennedy Space Center. We were rewarded when an unexpected delay in the Delta rocket launch to the sun occurred and we were able to see a NASA launch! Seeing a launch is worth the trip if you ever get a chance to be in the area.
NCL ship and crew were all great! Ate dinners in the Four Seasons ...
We chose this cruise because it coincided with a trip to Port Orange, Fl to see family. The dates were right and we like driving and parking at the ports in Florida. Parking is a little pricey at $85.00 for the 4 day cruise, however we were in our room 27 minutes from parking the car and when we returned we were from our room to our car with luggage in 16 minutes. If you park off site you have ...
I was asked by a friend to re-visit Cuba and decided on this cruise because I wanted to visit Key West rather than go to the Bahamas. I have limited mobility and take my own scooter along but was extremely dismayed to find that the ship (even though it was recently refurbished) was not at all inviting for a scooter. It was difficult to board because of the steep incline and 4" threshold over the ...
I wanted to go to Cuba, so we decided to book the Sun. This was my second cruise and I do not remember the embarkation begin as long as this one but the disembarkation was great. I love the ship is was lovely. We had a stateroom and the capacity was awesome for the both of us. We made the reservation each night. It was just like we were eating at a 5-star restaurant every night. The food was ...
I wanted to visit Cuba so I decide to take Norwegian instead of Carnival. What a mistake, it stated with the check in process. Checkin was reasonably simple, but it's the hurry up and wait routine, because as you check in you are not able to get on the boat there was about a 45 minute wait before we could board. We got on board at about 11:30 AM, but had to wait until 1:30 PM to get into the ...
Cruised to Havana onboard the Norwegian Sun and left Port Canaveral on Monday, August 13th, 2018. We flew in from Atlanta the morning before the cruise and spent the day on Coca Beach. Stayed at the La Quinta on the beach right next to the pier. The hotel was great and the staff was excellent. That night, we had dinner at Florida's Fresh Seafood - which was great and highly recommend. The next ...
Choose mainly for its destinations and length of time. Pleasantly surprised with everything food, drink, getting on and off processes. Staff were lovely friendly and helpful at all times. Would recommend this cruise. Clean and well maintained thoroughly. Restaurants were good never overcrowded food good ( could be warmer on occasion but that’s a personal prtefence. Entrainment Good excellent ...
We were looking for a quick trip for a decent price. I must say we were not disappointed. The Norwegian Sun was great. We stopped at Nassau, great prices on souvenirs. Be willing to bargain and walk away. The ship was beautiful. My massage was amazing. The entertainment, singing, dancing, comedy show were all great. Pool deck was always live with entertainment and contest. I worked out at the gym, ...
