This is our 10th cruise and 9th on Carnival. We (wife and me) chose this one due to itinerary (stop in Half Moon Cay). This ship is older one restored with new features (water park, rope course, seaside theater etc.). Balcony showed signs of wear. Food was plenty and good. We love the your time dining as we didn't have to wait in line and we showed up when convenient to us. Out of 5 ...

So this was my 4th cruise with Carnival but 20th cruise overall. My preferred line is NCL and Princess, and after cruising on the Carnival Miracle 2years ago which was AWFUL, I had low expectations of the Sunshine. However, it did not disappoint, it was infact one of my favourite cruises of all time. Pro's- -Food was fantastic. The buffet was huge with lots of choice and you could use ...

We thought we would finish off our epic family holiday to the US with a cruise around the Bahamas. I'd read a few mixed reviews of the Sunshine, so wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I am very pleased to say that we had the best time during our 5 day cruise on the Sunshine. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed every day of the itinerary, and there really is something for everyone on board the ...

This was my first ever cruise and I get an unbelievable experience! I'm 16 years old boy and I decide to join a teen club (club O2) this club for teens from 15-17 years old, I meat so many new people. club O2 helped all of us not to be scared of each other. Club was opened till 1 am but after when it closed, we went to the food market and we wear talking for 2 or more hours, or we just ...

My family and I have been on several cruises and we chose the Carnival Sunshine based on the features that attracted my children. They loved the online photos of the SkyCourse, Water Works, and the Lido Deck. We were worried about the mixed reviews, but figured that we would take the chance. The embarkation process was fairly quick and painless. We chose a 1pm board time since the place is ...

This was the first cruise my husband and I have ever been on. We selected Carnival because it was more budget conscious and we didn't want to waste a lot of money in case we ended up disliking the entire cruising experience. We arranged bus transfer from Orlando Airport (we live in New York) to Port Canaveral through Carnival and that went very smoothly. I purchased Faster to the Fun which got ...

Great cruise but too many issues

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We didn't actually care for the ship, as the layout is quite different than others in the fleet. The main auditorium is way too small, we went through 3 tv remotes during the cruise, the toilet was split and had to be replaced, the American Table menu is OK but lacked some of our favorites and the dining room service was VERY slow (at least 1.5 hrs. ...

We were excited to go on this cruise because two in the party have never cruised on a cruise ship before. The service was lack luster. The food was alright. The tacos and the jerked food were the best. Half Moon Cay was the best port that we pulled in to. Do not expect anything above average on this ship. They allow children to run around the halls all night with out holding parents ...
