Terrible....Food was disgusting. The cheers package with is unlimited drinking is a lie. First of all it's 15 drinks a day including water. The bartenders are horrible and they do everything they can to ignore you. Once you get there attention they can only give you one drink at a time and if you are with your a partner, they have to be there to in order to get the drink. in one day i was only ...

This was my 3rd cruise with the previous two being on another commonly considered more upscale cruise line (RC). I read reviews on the Sensation that was a smaller and older ship so I knew that going in. The check in process was very smooth and even with a glitch on my part with the on-line registration they made it seem very seamless. Yes the ship is older and does not have much of the modern ...

First, understand that I spent more than 7 months saving every cent for this cruise for a surprise for my fiancée's birthday..... First day- Sit on deck 10, they harass you almost to death to buy a drink. I kept saying "no thank you'. Was talking to the couple next to me, they said no, but waiter sat a drink down in front of them, so then man reached for his card. Waiter then sat one in front of ...

Love Carnival, but avoid the smaller ships

Just got back from my 6th cruise, which was on Carnival Sensation. Had to pick that one primarily because of the dates on which it left and came back. There were definitely some highlights and lowlights in general and as compared to other cruises I've been on. The bad: The ship itself I didn't like very much. It is relatively small by today's standards, with unimpressive decor. Most ...

The Sensation is has an interesting decor - very purple! The food was just ok...nothing spectacular. The cruise was too short to really get to know the workers but it is possible if you make the effort. The ship was clean overall with hand sanitizing stations. You definitely have to watch the buffet times, because if you have partied the night before, you might miss breakfast...they don't wait to ...

Never again! Where to start? Boarding was smooth and easy once we got over the 60 dollars to park! The stateroom was nice beds were comfortable. The room stewards were nice and help full and were always around doing something easy to find. But past them it went down hill. The whole ship is outdated and looks worn out. The buffets are move like cattle calls with food that tasted like it was from ...

We are a family of 4 from Oregon. We brought my mother-in-law. We booked back to back cruises starting with the Carnival Sensation 3 day to the Bahamas then climbed aboard The Royal Caribbeans Freedom of the Seas! Pre-cruise we stayed at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel at Sea world which I booked through priceline. It was great. We went to Seaworld one day and used our Southwest Airline membership ...

I have to say that we were worried. A lot of negative or borderline reviews came on about the ship, and quite frankly they were all really unfair. The ship was a lot of fun. Maybe not the biggest, maybe not the newest. However, very fresh, vibrant, fun. Big ship, redone rooms. Biggest complaint? Food lines. Dinners were absolutely awesome. Dining staff fun and entertaining. Camp Carnival was ...

This was the first real cruise for me and wife. For a variety of reasons we missed our 25th anniversary celebration and were looking for someplace to go, amazingly enough it was our kids idea to get away. We were considering several destinations within a day's drive of our Gainesville, FL home when I suggested a cruise. Since our only other experience had been a disastrous cruise to nowhere on ...
