Great time on the Glory

First time on Carnival. Picked this particular cruise for the ports..only 3 stops. I personally prefer not stopping every day at a port. That's just me. First time in St. Thomas and St. Maarten...loved both those places. Took cruise excursions and for sight seeing, beach time and snorkeling. We waited until the last minute to book....didn't get our first choices...but these worked out fine. ...

Elisa(GF) and I(AL) went to Disneyworld a week before the cruise and had a great time. We stayed in Orlando the night before the cruise and drove to Cape Canaveral the morning of the cruise dropped off the rental at Avis and was at the cruise terminal after 10am. Disembarkation took till almost 11:15am. Didn't the previous passengers realize there were new passengers waiting to board. ...

We sailed on the Carnival Glory April 11th - 18th 2009. This was our first cruise. We had an absolutely wonderful time. We sailed with our two boys ages 6 and 14. Our 6 year old loved Camp Carnival. The Carnival goes above and beyond for the kids! Our 14 year old had a blast meeting friends and the only time we saw him was at dinner. LOL. I wanted this to be a family vacation but the ...

We started by going down from Panama City, Fl. on Fri. to stay at the Radisson. The Radisson is a great place to stay pre cruise. The rooms were very comfortable and the room had plenty of space with a pleasant smell to it. My children had a blast playing tennis and swimming in the pool. We was scheduled for the 11:30 shuttle, but it was running 30 min behind, so we didn't board the shuttle until ...

Our spring break cruise with our 8 year old daughter on the Carnival Glory...was great!  We traveled with a group from our hometown that were experienced cruisers...who had been on several other cruise lines...and they seemed to be pleased as well.  First...let me tell you that if you can hook up with a group ...do so - pricing is much better.  We were able to have a balcony cabin because we had a ...

I'll start with a few tips... 1) Get up at 6am and take your towel out to reserve a chair or chairs on deck and then go back to bed. Otherwise, you won't get a deck chair anywhere near the pool area. 2) WARNING: Do not take a $70 taxi ride around any of the islands. Instead, just hire a taxi to take you to where you want to go. A Party of 2 will save money at $7pp per ride. 3) ...

We're a family of five - DH and me in our late 40s and our three sons. Oldest is a high school senior for whom this was likely his last family cruise for some time. However, he has lots of cruising time ahead of him, as he plans to attend the US Merchant Marine Academy for college and wants to go into Marine Engineering. I guess the cruising bug bit him hard! He hung out with kids at Club O2 and ...

First, the good things: 1. Our oceanview stateroom was very generously sized at 220 square feet, with plenty of closet space. The third sleeping space is a fold-out sofa with a real, firm mattress. We were traveling with a toddler, but this stateroom can very comfortably accommodate 3 adults. 2. Housekeeping and dining room services are top-notch. 3. The gym has a good number of working ...

Me, my husband and two teenage daughters (14 and 15) decided to spend the holidays on the Carnival Glory. The trip started out pretty rough as there was an ice storm in the Northeastern US so many planes were stranded and unable to make their schedules. We ended up spending 14 hours in airports before finally getting into Orlando. The cruise line booked our airfare so we were at the mercy of ...
