This was our 7th Carnival cruise. There has been a group of about 8 couples who have been trying to make this an every 2 year trip. My husband and I have made it a little more often with some or all from the group. We really noticed the cruise director was one of the best we have ever experience. She was approachable and involved in all of the activities we attended, she kept everyone informed ...

It was a wonderful relaxing cruise. Embarkation was smooth. The security line took the most time and that wasn't bad. We had an Aft extended cabin on the Empress deck plenty of room for two people great views. Our room Stewart kept on top of things and was able to roll with our schedule sleeping late and showering latter in the evening. Our room had great access to the parts of the ship we used ...

This was my first time cruising, so maybe I'm biased because I have nothing to compare it to. However, this was the best vacation I've ever been on! It is constant fun (hence why Carnival calls it your "fun cruise"). I was concerned when my boyfriend booked this for us. I thought the ship looked tacky and the pools small. I also felt Carnival didn't do a good job of providing details about how to ...

Last sailing for the Valor before she went in for upgrades. Was a bit of a nostalgia cruise for us because our first cruise had been on her sister ship Glory prior to upgrades as well. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the crew were just as diligent keeping appearances and maintenance as if she had just come out of dry dock. Had really expected to see things being let go a bit since they ...

This trip fit in with my daughter's Spring Break, so I booked it for us. It was a nice time but I probably won't return on this ship or this line. Due to exigent circumstances, the ship didn't arrive in port until 6:00. IN THE AFTERNOON. We finally got through boarding around 9:30 and then we did an abbreviated muster drill until sometime around 12:30AM. They cut one port stop off due to the ...

We left out of Port Canaveral on the Carnival Valor on April 2. We did not sail until 2 am due to a medical emergency on the cruise before us. We stayed in a balcony room on Deck 6. We were very disappointed to learn that our friends balcony could not be opened to allow us one big balcony next door to each other. When you book a cruise and you ask to be right beside someone, Carnival ...

Chose this cruise because my 2 step-sons ages 18 and 21 had never been on a cruise and I wanted there to be more activities for them. I have cruised 15 times before on Celebrity, Holland America, Costa, and some lines which are no longer in business. This was my first cruise on Carnival and it pretty much met my expectations. It is not for someone expecting a higher-end vacation. The food is ...

There was a minor setback at the start of our cruise for a medical emergency at Grand Turk. The ship was delayed for several hours and we were not able to board until after 9pm. We also had a minor snafu in that hubby's passport was misplaced, but that was resolved when we went back to the port for departure. We pretty much just went to bed shortly after midnight on that first night as we were ...

This cruise was so much fun. We chose this cruise because we were taking friends who were cruise virgins. Our rooms were upgraded to Junior Suites and we had the balconies connected for more space. The only downside was our snorkeling excursions and swim with dolphins were cancelled due to water conditions. We still got to interact with the Dolphins, but not like we had hoped. In Beloze we ...
