Paid a whole lot to sit in a tiny cabin for a week. Starting day one there was no internet, although we all paid and were charged. Although internet is optional, app access is required for dining/activities, and when their internet is out it your problem, not theirs. Excursions were cancelled for no good reason. False advertising of their private island at Princess Cays (can’t enter water unless ...
We chose this cruise because we could not beat the price! First I want to point out that the ship was absolutely beautiful and our balcony stateroom did the trick. Though, MSC has not grasped that in the states one of the important things we like is efficiency. The lines, the lines, the lines! You will not get a drink when you want one. They also don’t have anything. It’s a fun lotto of ...
I cannot recommend this cruise line at all. If you want a "pretty" ship to look at then it had that. If you want good food, service and activities go elsewhere. We arrived with a dirty cabin. IT takes 7 hours to get a towel..ice...bedding... pillow.. toilet paper. Mini bar unlocked. 7 hours was the minimum time time it took. You cannot get your own ice and often it never came. Entire day. ...
We went as a family celebration with 12 people. The cabins were large enough with ocean view on deck 2. However, there is only ONE electrical outlet in the ENTIRE cabin. In today's age of electronics with 2 or more guests in a cabin, this is ridiculous. I have sailed MANY times on multiple cruise lines and this was a big shock. Always have had outlets in bathroom and a few more in cabin.
No ice ...
This was a 50th anniversary cruise for one set of grandparents. Stops included Nassau and Coco Cay. Three generations of extended family on board. The ship was beautiful and the crew very friendly and helpful. The balcony rooms were very clean and comfortable. Doni, our stateroom attendant was wonderful. Yes, they only service the rooms once a day now, but the room for our kids and grandchildren ...
1. The Port Canaveral personnel do an excellent job of checking in and boarding the ship.
2. The food in the main dining room has declined substantially. Portions are small and two of the nights the meal was inedible. Very poor quality. The waiters did a good job, but not as professional as previously. The pizza and Guys burgers were both very good. The deli sandwiches were mediocre. ...
We stayed in a Spa cabin (12009) and although the balcony was on the wrong side for the beach view at Grand Turk, the view at Amber Cove was amazing! From our door, The Fitness Center was only about 30 ft away and just inside was a cold water fountain (including a faucet for water bottles) with the best tasting water on the boat. The only noise issue with the cabin was one morning at 4:30 am, for ...
My wife and I chose this ship for several reasons: the itinerary, the time of year, Port Canaveral is close to our home and it was a new ship we wanted to experience. The pros: large staterooms, food was good and our stateroom attendant was excellent. The cons: the buffet was way undersized for the amount of passengers, as was the entertainment venues. The ship is a virtual labyrinth when it ...
The MSC sales agent told us the ship would have about 3000 passengers. Once on board we were told there were 4400. The ship was not staffed to support that many passengers. Service was slow, lines to do just about anything on the ship.
5th floor dining room management was unresponsive. The first night we asked for a permanent table for 6. We eventually got assigned seating, but it was not ...
We have been on 7 cruises with Royal and Carnival and we have never done a public review, but people need to know how bad MSC is. I'm being 100 percent honest.
Crew is rude (it felt so weird ordering drinks without a hello or even one word spoken. Just a finger pointing to a card reader for payment. The same thing happened at the casino cashier.
Long waits at least 15 minutes every drink you ...
