An extra sea day thanks to Ivan

Review for Carnival Liberty to Bahamas

I chose this cruise as Port Canaveral was drivable from my home. I took my daughters, daughter in law, 5 grandkids and 1 great grandaughter. We only got to dock in Nassau and had light rain that day (our first day) so didn't do much. We were not able to dock the following day in Princess Cays and as we missed that, they were going to take us to Freeport the next day. Weather didn't permit that ...

Beautiful ship, but it's a one and done.

Review for Disney Wish to Bahamas

The ship is nice. It still has the new car smell. If you're a previous Disney cruiser, it may have been a let down. If you're a new Disney cruiser, you may have loved it. It was a good cruise, but I wasn't sad to leave. What's good: Beautiful/well-themed venues New food, finally - if you know, you know Huge variety of specialty drinks for venues crew - very helpful no aft ...

Review for Carnival Freedom to Caribbean - Eastern

This was the 4th carnival cruise since the restart and sadly the most disappointing experience of all 4. I booked this as a last minute 5 day get away knowing the ship was dated and the cruise ports might change because of the growing storm that hit grand turks. Cons/Pros Multiple maintenance issues in cabin: burned out overhead light, door lock inoperable, sewage smell outside door, ...

Great Value, Overall Good Experience for a Weekend Getaway

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

All things considered, MSC Divina is worth a shot. I think there are some excellent reasons to give MSC a try over Royal Caribbean or Carnival. I'll try to be objective in explaining my four-star review. Embarkation: Departure out of Canaveral was a breeze. The port itself is relatively easy to park at, and MSC seems to have a pretty smooth process. Cabins were available at 1:30 PM and the ...

Fantastic Cruise

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

In one word it was fabulous! Literally from the boarding process to disembarking, everything was phenomenally well organized and therefore smooth. Prior to our departure, I, probably like many prospects, researched cruises online. There are some less than stellar reviews about the Divinia so I was a bit leery, but the experience was the opposite of what I read. • I’ve never been on a ...

This was our eighth Disney cruise (and 27th cruise in total), and first on the Wish. Travelling as two adults and no kids We were so excited when the Wish reservations opened up, we booked right away for a trip in September - little lower price and a few less kids. I must admit some months after the initial booking when the final payment was due, I did have second thoughts on how expensive it ...

We went on this sailing as a family member was part of the entertainment on the ship. From the beginning it was most difficult to contact a live body to answer questions not answered on their website. Was on hold for over 4 hours! The navigator app was another challenge, not to mention uploading information the the app that required copies of vaccination card and current covid test. The ...

Our Final Cruise with Carnival.

Review for Carnival Liberty to Bahamas

Where do I start. Many are repeats from past trips but, with no changes from past Carnival trips, it is obvious these common complaints are not a priority to the company. First and foremost, this ship has raw sewage leaks throughout. Certain hallways had the nauseating smell the entire cruise. Other areas seemed to have an intermittent smell. Either way it is disgusting. 100s of complaints and ...

Needed to get away for a few days. This seemed like a good choice as the port was only 2 1/2 away and it was a short 4 night break. In all fairness to RCL I knew it was a “family oriented cruise line” but I foolishly believed that children would be in school this early in the school year. Boy was I wrong! I would estimate that there were at 500-700 screaming, crying, running, jumping, coughing ...

Over all the trip was great. Few minor mishaps on embarkment day and the one day my eye glass flew overboard. Embarkment was a chaotic. No direction really. There were set boarding times but no one was following them. Ours was at 11:30 and we had the Key program (highly recommended, at least for us). Key - early check-in, special security and check-in lines, free lunch on the first day, free ...
