From the beginning, air transportation to Perth Australia was long and needed 2 transfers. Check-in was one of the longest time periods (30 minutes) once at the counter we have ever spent of the 7 cruises we have taken with RCCL Our cabin (9672) as well as approximately 150 others had problems with the stool in the bath room not flushing or flushing when it wanted to and it took 5 days for ...

Time for a huge refit

The Voyager is looking very tired and I was really disappointed that such a large ship is so poorly laid out. Maintenance and general cleaning in common areas needs a major upgrade. Dust prevalent, tired furniture, mouldy loose fittings, counted 16 globes out in Dining chandelier. There is so much wasted space. Had a lot of difficulty in finding a quiet place to just sit and relax in peace. The ...

We chose back to back cruises starting in Perth on to Adelaide, Melbourne and NZ finishing in Sydney and then 8 days to Brisbane and the Barrier Reef again finishing in Sydney. We chose the cruise solely based on the itinerary and were not disappointed although the weather could have been better in the early stages. We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 midship (8316) - excellent location and ...

The start of the cruise was delayed by about 12 hours due to really bad weather in the area we were suppose to travel through at the beginning of this cruise. Again, Captain Sindre was watching out for the safety of the passengers and crew. Basically the same crew as the first leg of this repositioning cruise and very little change in the attitude or the work ethic of the activities crew. A ...

The cruise was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime as we had never travelled to the other side of the world before and we had previously had very good cruises with the company in europe see main issues on cabin review .However the long term saving and planning was ruined by our experience. The entertainment was not very good with only two dancing and singing shows compared to the offerings in ...

Its only our 3rd cruise, 1st on such a large ship 1st with a balcony 9520. What I want to tell you is if you know how to enjoy yourself you’ll have a great time. I read a few reviews before sailing as I do research our holidays and was a bit dubious on reading some but a good friend recommended the ship and I value her experiences so we went and were so so glad we did. Perhaps our lives ...

We just arrived home after a month on the Voyager. We have been on about 20 cruises with more than a few cruise companies This was our first time with Royal Caribbean and will be our last. Things started to go wrong within the first hour of boarding the ship. We had pre purchased the Ultimate Drinks package. On our first attempt to use it to get a glass of Champaign (Moet) we were told that ...

We are a family of seven, two adults and five boys ages 15, 13, 9, 7 and 4. Two friends of ours where travelling too. We have done 16 cruises; for our friends this was their third cruise. All up we have sailed on six different ships before this one. We were really looking forward to this cruise, we had great expectations considering that we have never been on a ship this big and add to that the ...

It was our very first RC cruise. Overwhelming is an understatement, we didn't know what to look at or do first. Finding our way around the ship for the first 2 days was the biggest challenge. Of course the kids wanted to do everything at once! Ice skating, flow rider, basketball, shuffle board, arcade...... the list goes on. There was loads to keep us occupied and when there wasn't we played ...

We were a big family group of 14, ranging from 6 yrs to 70's! We had a great time. Checkin was good, no problems there! Our cabin was small but fine. Our cabin attendant was Francis, and he kept our cabin lovely and clean and was always very friendly and attentive. We only ate at the Windjammers (buffet) twice in the two week cruise, mainly because we prefer full service! The food was ...
