This was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.
The boarding process was very easy and quick with no problems at all. This was a good start, just what we were expecting from our first trip with RCI. We have previously sailed with 4 other cruise lines.

This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise & we were extremely disappointed! Having had 2 great trips on the Millenium class, this entire voyage missed the mark!

Our experience echoes earlier reviews. Embarkation at Fremantle was delayed due to cleaning operations and once on board, self-service in the food/beverage areas was suspended resulting in seemingly endless queuing. We too were disappointed that the ship’s management failed to provide passengers with any updates of the extent, if any, of an on-board outbreak of norovirus.

On Boarding found no hot water in our cabin this went on for 3 days sewage smell in cabin
Made our room very hard to spend any time in cabin had to purchase our own can of glen 20 to combat the smell
As out line in other reviews staff were directed to serve food after a out break of gasto prior to our boarding so food was severed cold in the windjammer restaurant

Firstly the winds blew from day 1 to last day - impossible to use outer decks. Solarium has no roof so useless. This was my 3rd cruise with Royal Carribean Cruise lines in an owners suite.
The overall experience on this cruise was poor due to numerous factors unlike the other 2 cruise which where magnificent but they were on the Rhapsody of the Seas.

Embarked at Fremantle, and found ship to be in good order and well maintained.
The shore excursions were chaotic and badly organised, staff wanting to cut short our time ashore on over-priced excursions.
