It was our very first RC cruise. Overwhelming is an understatement, we didn't know what to look at or do first. Finding our way around the ship for the first 2 days was the biggest challenge. Of course the kids wanted to do everything at once! Ice skating, flow rider, basketball, shuffle board, arcade...... the list goes on.

The cruise (Voyager of the Seas) was OK but not to the standard of a previous cruise (Radiance of the Seas).
Voyager - - Entertainment - Good, with some shows being excellent.

When selecting a cruise you have to be very careful of both timing (school holidays) and number of guests onboard. We recently went on the Voyager of the Seas and had an awful time. It was school holidays so had 650 children onboard who I may say most of these children were so well behaved but the few who weren't well behaved were awful.

Its only our 3rd cruise, 1st on such a large ship 1st with a balcony 9520. What I want to tell you is if you know how to enjoy yourself you’ll have a great time. I read a few reviews before sailing as I do research our holidays and was a bit dubious on reading some but a good friend recommended the ship and I value her experiences so we went and were so so glad we did.

This was our second cruise. We are a couple of 50 year olds and we travelled with another couple of the same age. We had adjoining stern cabins 7311 & 7315 on deck 7. Embarked at Fremantle, and found ship to be in good order and well maintained.
The shore excursions were chaotic and badly organised, staff wanting to cut short our time ashore on over-priced excursions.
Bad weather affected a couple of the tendering ports, and we queued in corridors for over an hour, not having information on disembarkation.

Having done more than 120 Days at sea, There is always little things that go wrong but I look at the overall experience
There were mostly West Australians on board about 2600 I believe

Others have critiqued the boarding and disembarkation schemozzle so I won't repeat what they have said. I have cruised on the Voyager of the Seas some 18 months previously and found it to be a good experience. Maybe I was lucky that time as there was a very bad outbreak of Norovirus which affected some 800 people but which I managed to avoid.
