Maiden Royal Caribbean Cruise

Review for a Asia Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

It was our very first RC cruise. Overwhelming is an understatement, we didn't know what to look at or do first. Finding our way around the ship for the first 2 days was the biggest challenge. Of course the kids wanted to do everything at once! Ice skating, flow rider, basketball, shuffle board, arcade...... the list goes on. There was loads to keep us occupied and when there wasn't we played ...

Cruise OK - Can't Say the same for Royal Caribbean

The cruise (Voyager of the Seas) was OK but not to the standard of a previous cruise (Radiance of the Seas). Voyager - - Entertainment - Good, with some shows being excellent. - Food - Average. In many cases it seemed to have been thrown on the plate. - Wait Staff - Excellent service. They did their very best to please. However, it was obvious they were ...

Be Careful

When selecting a cruise you have to be very careful of both timing (school holidays) and number of guests onboard. We recently went on the Voyager of the Seas and had an awful time. It was school holidays so had 650 children onboard who I may say most of these children were so well behaved but the few who weren't well behaved were awful. This is a large boat and unless you want to be harassed ...

Its only our 3rd cruise, 1st on such a large ship 1st with a balcony 9520. What I want to tell you is if you know how to enjoy yourself you’ll have a great time. I read a few reviews before sailing as I do research our holidays and was a bit dubious on reading some but a good friend recommended the ship and I value her experiences so we went and were so so glad we did. Perhaps our lives ...

Voyager of the Seas April 2015, out of Freemantle - Having sailed with other cruise lines I have a significant amount of underpinning knowledge to give towards this review ... First things first - this is a very american style ship attempting to embed itself into the AU cruising market, as has other cruise lines before it, however, it has not done anywhere near the market research of other ...

This was our second time on Voyager of the Seas and our fifth cruise altogether . My husband and I chose this cruise because of the destinations (Port Hedland, Bangkok, Pattaya, Saigon and Singapore) and the good value associated with this reposition trip. We also enjoyed our previous cruise on Voyager. I've read many negative reviews about this cruise and while everything was not without ...

This was our second cruise. We are a couple of 50 year olds and we travelled with another couple of the same age. We had adjoining stern cabins 7311 & 7315 on deck 7. The cruise was titled Australia’s Top End and travelled from Perth up around the top of Australia and finished in Sydney. All ports were Australian with the exception of Bali, Indonesia. 17 nights with 10 sea days. Incredibly calm ...

Chaotic organisation

Embarked at Fremantle, and found ship to be in good order and well maintained. The shore excursions were chaotic and badly organised, staff wanting to cut short our time ashore on over-priced excursions. Bad weather affected a couple of the tendering ports, and we queued in corridors for over an hour, not having information on disembarkation. Entertainment the worst on any ...

Others have critiqued the boarding and disembarkation schemozzle so I won't repeat what they have said. I have cruised on the Voyager of the Seas some 18 months previously and found it to be a good experience. Maybe I was lucky that time as there was a very bad outbreak of Norovirus which affected some 800 people but which I managed to avoid. When I boarded the ship with my partner there was a ...
