I chose this cruise because I wanted to do a river cruise. Viking may be the best river cruise operator but I found the cruise to be average. Our first viking cruise. We previously cruised with Avalon in 2022 in France, plus many ocean cruises. We are younger seniors that enjoy walking and biking.

Staff was amazing and were always accommodating.
Disappointed in some of the small towns in Germany.
Would not sail to these towns again in the future.

We sailed on the Viking Rinda for the Danube Waltz cruise on April 3, 2022. The cruise was only disappointing in that we wasted $1800 getting a balcony cabin which we found out was NOT worth the expense.

Chose this cruise for the Christmas Markets from Passau to Budapest with a 3 day pre cruise extension in Prague.
The extension in Prague was outstanding, a beautiful city especially during this time.
