Not ideal for US guests and not a fair exchange for the Arosa Mia

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Flora

I chose this cruise to explore river cruise offerings. I have river cruised with AMA which was very good in all areas - food, cabins, evening activity, beverage offering. I have stayed in an Arosa hotel in Sylt which was very good and thought the river cruise would be similar. I ocean cruise with Azamara, Celebrity, Oceania, and the German Hapag lloyd MS Europa 2 so this review is not about German ...

Not worth your money, specially if your non German speaking and young

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Donna

I have traveled with A-rosa "Donna" cruises in the danube river, and to be honest it does not even worth paying 100 euros. 1) The cruise is built in and suitable for German speaking although I booked for international or English speaking cruise, if you ask the staff in English they will answer you, but don't expect more than that. 2) The high rank staff was rude to us, the non German ...

Wonderful first-time river cruise on the Danube

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Donna

We had a wonderful experience as a family on the Donna (7-day Danube round-trip from Passau). We chose an International sailing as we don't speak German, and found most of the staff spoke good English, and all the important announcements were made in both English and German. The majority of guests on board were German, with a large tour group from the UK and a smattering of other nationalities too ...

The pre cruise 3 day stay in Prague, together with Vienna and Budapest were the high points of this, our second river cruise. The views from our Juliette cabin window were magnificent and come highly recommended. The weather was typically very hot but the air conditioning kept us all cool until one evening it broke down for a few hours. Generally however, the facilities onboard were maintained to a ...

This was our first river cruise and did not know what to expect, especially given the fact that I had never heard of Arosa cruises. However, the room (a suite) was bright, very clean, quiet, and spacious. The food was very good and we are picky. We were the only Americans on the boat, with the remainder of the passengers German. Every member of the crew spoke some English, but of course, some ...

This was our first time on a River Cruise and I did enjoy the overall experience of river cruising but would choose another company next time, in regard to some reasons listed below. This cruise was along the Danube from Passau to Budapest and back over 8 days. When we arrived in the train station in Passau we were surprised that there was no representative from Arosa to offer passengers ...

I wanted to give you an update of our experiences on the Arosa Bella cruise on the Danube. Let me start out that there were 5 of us traveling in 3 cabins. We are all in our late 40's-early 50's. We got a text the night before the cruise was to start while we were in Munich that the locks were down in Slovakia and the boat could not get to Passau so we would be bussed to the boat in Hungary. This ...
