We have been on Princess for 9 cruises. The 11 day itinerary for Paris and the British Isles drew us to this cruise. It was a good choice although with 2 busy pre-cruise days in Paris, and 11 days with 9 ports it was extremely active and probably not for people who are looking for a R&R vacation

My husband and I went on the Viking Rhine cruise and I couldn't wait to go on another. I went with a friend for this excursion and had a blast. From Paris to Luxembourg to Germany to Czech Republic, we saw so much of Europe. The tour guides were great and I felt like I learned a lot on the trip.

This was our first river cruise with Viking, and it couldn't have been a better experience. We were met at the airport by our Viking representative and taken to our hotel in Paris. From that point on we were taken care of completely. We chose this cruise as it offered 2 nights stay in both Paris and Prague, and a visit down three rivers with stops in many towns that we were unfamiliar with in Germany. We had friends going on this cruise and they invited us along. The two days in Paris were great. The Viking Team met us at the airport and whisked us into the city in a beautiful car. The tea at the hotel took care of us as soon as we entered. The bus drive to Trier through Luxembourg was very comfortable and very emotional with the visit to the American cemetery.
