We had friends going on this cruise and they invited us along. The two days in Paris were great. The Viking Team met us at the airport and whisked us into the city in a beautiful car. The tea at the hotel took care of us as soon as we entered. The bus drive to Trier through Luxembourg was very comfortable and very emotional with the visit to the American cemetery.

we read a lot of reviews and also have friends that have gone on Viking cruises and we have never heard of anything negative. Their website does a great job of showing you the rooms and the whole ship in and out. They also show all the ports you will visit and what to expect.

We traveled on the final cruise of the year, we spent Christmas in Rouen as the Normandy Beaches excursion would have fallen on a Holiday. This is a very pleasant easy trip. The cruise was spectacular. The entire staff was perfect. The tours were all interesting and really very well planned. Our tour director, Claudia, met us in Paris and remained with us for the entire trip. She was always accessible, made sure everyone knew schedules, always informative and friendly.
I was disappointed that the boat did not dock within walking distance to the town at each port. It was so much more enjoyable when that was possible.

The Hotel in Paris - Le Meridien was being renovated and you could hear all the work being done early in the morning above us. We had the furthest room from the elevators and took 20 minutes just to get to the Lobby. Hotel breakfast was good. Hotel Staff was attentive. Everything else in Paris was lovely.
