Ok P&O, you have one more chance after this
"The wait staff in the main restaurant can be very hit or miss (mainly miss) - one time asking for an extra bread roll we were told there were not enough, another time when we asked for vinegar we were told it would take too long to get and another time we asked three times for butter before our neighbours took pity on us and also started pestering the waiter on our behalf. The buffet is terrible in terms of how it is laid out (three small repetitive areas) and creates congestion and queues, plus there are insufficient tables for two at the buffet so be prepared to share a table every time...."Read More

We felt we got everything we expected (and indeed, wanted). Embarkation and disembarkation was efficient. We had to wait for our room as they were doing a deep clean due to illness on board. P&O staff were doing a good job of maintaining hygiene standards throughout our week. Our cabin was spacious and we loved the layout and mirrors! The cabin bathroom is a bit tired. Shower cabin needed ...

Apart from the slow embarkation due to norovirus on previous cruises our cruise was excellent. Our highlights were the food and entertainment. I highly recommend all the speciality restaurants our favourites been Epicurean and Sindhu where the food and service in both were outstanding. The crepe suzette was unbelievable cooked in front of us WOW. The 3 shows from the headliners were ...

No idea on diary requirements, even went to diatry meeting and was not informed that you could book gluten free 24 hours in advance, only found out after complaining in main dining area about lack of choice. Waterside very poor staff including helper when asked what else stated plenty and started pointing out vegan and vegetarian, food cross contamination gluten free cakes with none gluten free, ...

We booked two inside cabins for three adults on Ventura’s 13-day mid-April 2024 cruise from Southampton to the Canary Islands. The booking showed that the occupants of both cabins should embark at the same time. We completed all the online formalities including uploading our passport photos as requested, and did not select a set dining time as we knew there was freedom dining onboard. We had two ...

Early misgivings over what to expect from recent reviews were dismissed as soon as we got to the Mayflower Cruise Terminal, boarding was seamless, from check in to a glass in hand was just 20 minutes, Our Deluxe Cabin starboard/aft was large with an extended non overlooked balcony. it was clean spacious with a lovely touch of Champagne and Chocolates, a welcome return of dressing gowns and ...

We left from Ayrshire in Scotland the day before the cruise, and stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn Swindon, and then drove to Southampton the next day,We had complimentary parking at the port, that went very smoothly, then boarded Ventura about twenty minutes later after very quick security and check in,when we got to our cabin all our baggage was outside our room,we were greeted by our Steward ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Ventura

We choose Ventura for the ports of call. Alas, three were cancelled but the ports we did call at were in the main okay during our 35 night sailing. Never again on Ventura, the food was of poor quality, the service, hit and miss, the entertainment average, I don't think anyone would watch the acts if they appeared at venues other than on a cruise. The cabins, managed to a Travel Lodge standard, ...

Cabin cleaned bed made if requested with card in lock once a day no turn down.,Bathroom no apparent cleaning as nothing ever moved mould in tiles grout coming out..Lack of vegetables on board asked for ...
