P&O Seem to have lost the plot

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Arcadia

We chose this cruise because it went to a few ports we hadn't visited before, and it was at a time (April) when we thought the weather would be good but not too hot. We have sailed with P&O 6 times before and 3 of those on Arcadia, and have always enjoyed ourselves. Not on this occasion. We were surprised when our Cabin Steward advised us there was no evening turn-down and that he wasn't ...

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Ventura

Thus wa my first cruise with P&O and it will certainly be my last. In fact it was such a dreadful holiday that it may well put me off cruising altogether. It started badly when we arrived at Southampton on a P&O coach along with many others. This led to long queues which was a sign of things to come. Although unpleasant it was not as bad as disembarkation which was delayed for over an hour due ...

I came with my mother an experienced cruiser and along with most people we met we all thought the same Poor food but plentiful the menus at the sit down restaurant were good it was just the quality and presentation on arrival I bought a nice bottle if wine from on shore and went to ask how much for corkage i was told it was £30 unbelievable for a bottle of wine Good and polite ...

Where to start? Check in was speedy so positive there. After setting sail every single guest was aghast that water is not included in children's drinks package. And when we tried to order tap water the server didn't recommend this and offered us to pay for it instead. Serving staff hardly left the bar area to gather orders so naturally went to the bar to order to find out they ...

Be realistic about expectations

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azura

Just back from a one week cruise on the Azura which I booked having very much enjoyed my first P&O cruise three years ago. I expected the same experience as last time. Sadly this did not happen. I heard many seasoned cruisers saying that the food was poor and the service not as great. This is also my view so I spoke to a senior member of the on board management team and can now report the ...

Horrendous cruise.

Ventura, S/hampton - S/hampton, 2nd March - 5th. April 2023, 35nts. This is officially the worst cruise I've ever been on. The embarkation process was complete chaos, and lasted most of the day. Despite P&O demanding that passengers self administer a Covid test & photograph results with date/time etc, this evidence was not requested or scrutinised at check-in. There were numerous incidences ...

So sad to see such decline.

Review for a Asia Cruise on Arcadia

This was the sixth cruise my wife and I have taken on board Arcadia. Prior cruises have been very rewarding and enjoyable. Sadly, that appears to have ended. Food was appalling, including the main dining room. Meat was of low quality and the fish was invariably died out. The main course never once looked appetizing and consequently the dinner plates were returned to the waiters with only ...

Decided to try this for a change and what a mistake that was. Flew to Tenerife and then bused to the ship and went through boarding fairly easily and onto ship. Ship looked in reasonable condition and cabin was clean and functional. Bathroom had shower curtain and shower head was too low to stand under and no soap. After three hours case had not been delivered to room and went and ...

Disappointing

3 day stay in Tenerife and 7 day cruise, stopping at Maderia , Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. Ship in general looks tired. Furniture in cabins adequate but dated; a lot of brown and beige. Light displays in main dining areas were not functioning properly. The food was the most disappointing aspect. I am a Pescetarian and my husband vegetarian. The food in the main dining rooms were ...
