Wetherspoons at sea. First cruise with p&o since 2019. Cannot believe the decline in standards. 3 days before we sailed, we were contacted by P&O who advised us that our cabin was no longer available and gave us an ultimatum of a downgrade to inside cabin with a 50% refund or cancel our holiday. Having cruised many times ith P&O we were appalled at the fall in standards. The quality, eating habits, behaviour and particularly the dress of many passengers was dreadful. We flew from Gatwick to Tenerife to board the ship. The transfer to the north of the island was disorganised and chaotic. We waited two hours for the coach to pick us up. Too many overweight and ill mannered seniors on board (although there were quality passengers also). Too few comfortable seats in desirable areas unless constantly harrassed by (very polite) waiters to buy drink after drink.
