Its predecessor company operated pleasure trips since 1844, and the world's first dedicated cruise ship in 1881. It is the sister company of, and retains strong links with, P&O Cruises Australia. We flew to London via Hong Kong, had New Years with a family member before spending two nights in Southampton. We had booked a balcony cabin on C deck near the aft, it was very comfortable although was showing some signs of wear, the bathrooms definitely need updating. However we had a great Cabin Steward who went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our cruise. The cabin was kept spotless ...

First experience of cruising for more than 17 nights. This cruise was. 44 nights with 4 night stay in Sydney. The cruise was great. A few days of rough weather over bay of biscay (as expected). Sea sickness tablets worked a treat, There were two ports we had to abort because of bad weather: bay of islands and Tonga. This is something you have to expect when cruising which us beyond ...

Having never experienced a 29 day cruise, we were a little unsure what we would think and booked this leg of the world cruise. we loved it so much we could have stayed on for weeks more. We are used to the various people who complain about many issues on all cruise ships, including this and we wonder what people really expect when paying these very reasonable prices mostly offered these ...

We have just returned from the first sector from Southampton to Dubai on Arcadia's Grand Odyssey (World Cruise). CONDITION - The ship missed her planned refit in December and that may explain why there was more rust visible than one would normally see. This meant the crew were spending more time than usual on chipping off rust and repainting. On our sector this resulted in sections of the ...

Just returned off Aurora today from a 12 nt Canary Island cruise. This would have been the 3rd time on the ship. I chose this ship again as I had previously enjoyed the entertainment and passenger mix. Unfortunately, the cruise was so boring. The Aurora Theatre company (this time only), were atrocious, just like a team of amateurs. The only good thing I could say was the two lead characters in ...
