We chose this cruise for my husband to experience the Panama Canal . Don’t expect to much of anything on this ship very poor in so many areas and ways P&O have really dropped their standards. Dated cabins with dirty stained sweaty pillows threaded quilt covers dirty shower curtain that wasn’t changed for the duration of our 24 day cruise, unhelpful rude reception staff ( females mainly) dirty ...

This was to be our holiday of our lifetime and had spent many years saving up for it. We had previously sailed with Princes cruises for several weeks at a time and it was marvellous and could not fault it, from the crew to the entertainment as well as the food. As soon as we went on board, we were disappointed, it looked so drab and unwelcoming, whereas on Princess, when you enter the ship, you ...

We have just returned from a 3 night mini break from Adelaide to Melbourne via Kangaroo Island. The ship herself, is very dated , liked nannas house, only missing the plastic covers on the chairs ! On the positive side, there is a full length walking track on deck 7, a kettle in the cabin and the pressure in the shower is good. I also loved my balcony, sitting out there reading , listening ...

Just wanted a short break to take some non cruisers on a trial cruise...so we did a 3 nighter from Adelaide to Melbourne in 4 cabins. The ship was old and tired, the staff dis-interested and this reflected in the food, some surly waiters and the entertainment. After 3 days, everyone was more than happy to get off ! I dont think I could have handled one day more! So two formal dining rooms ...

Price/smaller ship/traditional ship (2000 passengers?) The ship is traditional older class and embarks on a world cruise in Southampton UK once a year in January .Special deals are offered to fill some legs of the journey at reduced prices perhaps to sell the cabins and ours was Singapore to Fremantle section ...Last year we did Darwin to Hong Kong I can't believe how much the service and ...

I wished to visit some of the itinerary. Unfortunately the cabin allotted to us was very noisy and we missed many a morning lecture due to loss of sleep. eventually we were moved but his occurred several times so we were not happy travellers. Staff were very good but food was not the usual standard expected from previous cruises. Lectures appeared mainly for men so I found the cruise ...

What a cheap company. Never ever again a P&O cruise. None tasting food. Cheap entertainment. Dirty ship on all public spaces. Looked like the ship was 25 years old. Terrible design on many places. Many officers, especially English, don't know how to behave in front of passanger. Without passangers they wouldn't had any jobs. Very disapponting with behavior like that. A world cruise on 106 days and ...

This world cruise was a big disappointment when compared to Arcadia's 2010 world cruise. P & O's pre-departure administration was poor and error prone. The embarkation was appalling. The ship's interior is drab and shabby with badly marked bulkheads, scuffed furniture, tape holding things together and numerous water leaks. My cabin had a visible dent in the mattress and the window's double ...

Sampler cruise to see what the newly refurbished P&O Arcadia was like. Looked hard but struggled to see exactly what had been refurbished? The buffet and perhaps the theatre? The cabins are a little tired and ours was quite dirty. On embarkation our bathroom floor and shower foot well had that much hair stuck to them I was in disbelief! Our balcony door lock did not work and the door swung open ...

We went on the J301 cruise from Southampton to Brisbane the dream cruise for retirement that turned into a nightmare I would conservatively say 80% of the people on the ship were sick at some time with type 1 and 2 flu found on the ship as well as the famed Arcadia cough which we found was no myth I boarded the ship healthy and during the 52 days of the cruise have never taken so many medicines ...
