Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Aurora

It was when Lorena, Sous Chef in the Horizon self-service restaurant, asked me on the first morning what sort of bread I preferred for my breakfast toast that I had an inkling that Aurora was going to deliver something special. The 65-night Grand Tour to the USA and Caribbean certainly did that, starting each day with seeded bread for my toast, baked by Lorena and cheerfully delivered to my table ...

Staff good other than our first waiter he was very very poor and sarcastic on one occasion throwing mince sauce all over my food.We asked to be moved and were. Our first cabin was rubbish as toilet kept blocking up air con was faulty the fridge was warm and more. we were moved to another cabin and we were very well looked after. The air conditioning on this ship was bad nearly every passenger had ...

Having used the Ventura last year for a 35 day cruise we were looking forward to a repeat cruise which this time included some South American ports of call.We booked a outside cabin but were disappointed to be given a cabin on deck five which was so small that the bed filled most of the space and there was nowhere to sit except the bed.The noise from the thrusters made sleeping difficult and after ...

The opportunity to travel up the Amazon, Central America and Caribbean. The whole cruise was excellent in every way. The many ports of call, experiencing so many places, the excursions well organised. The crew were excellent, a happy ship and you felt it. Nothing was too much trouble. The waiters couldn’t oblige you more. Entertainment on the whole good including the Headliners shows. The ...

Enjoyable cruise from start to finish. Swift embarkation and luggage soon followed. Balcony cabin on B deck kept spotless by our cabin steward. I can't comment on the entertainment as it's never my thing so I don't go. The food was all good from the grab and go to the main resturants. We had two meals in Epicurian and one in Sindu, both of these select venues are well worth the extra ...

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azura

My wife had a specific diet entitled a "thick pureed diet" and we sent all relevant documentation before we booked and p & o customer services sent them direct to the azura who replied that this diet would be no problem so we booked. The first evening meal the soup was served with bits of leaves in it directly against directions in this diet and it then went from bad to worse! On two evenings ...

Overall, I thought it a floating Butlins for geriatrics. That may sound a little harsh but I expected a lot more for the money. The entertainment was often suboptimal and the food somewhat bland. Portions were small but not a-la-carte; good job there was food to be had elsewhere on the ship afterwards. Of more concern, the ship ran out of the cheaper wines after week one, which was a concern ...

I chose this cruise specifically for the destinations. I only found out after booking this cruise that it was a Strictly come dancing cruise. What a bonus! 11 of us travelled down in 3 cars. Upon arrival our luggage was taken from us by efficient and friendly attendants who then drove away and parked the cars for the duration of the 2 weeks holiday. Easy and stress free and well worth the ...

We chose this cruise as keen fans of 'Strictly' and had been on the Britannia last year on a similar cruise. Food was good usual standard for P&O. We had freedom dinning and ate mainly in the Peninsular. Good service...friendly staff. We ate one night in the Epicurean...well worth the £28pp cover charge. Good for a special evening and we celebrated a birthday. Maitre de was a little grumpy ...

This was my first cruise with P&O and will be my last , we booked the cruise ship because my wife had always wanted to go on one , and my parents had been on loads of cruises and said how luxurious it was . The embarkation was efficient and the staff were helpful , we were able to go to our cabin straightaway and were met by our cabin steward who was very helpful . On our way to the safety ...
