Several previous cruises with P&O.
This one ruined - not because of the cancelled port visits (due to the current virus panic) which the captain handled well - but because the ship stank of sewage.
We had paid for a good midship balcony cabin but could not use the balcony because of the constant vile stench of sewage. Public rooms and the promenade deck midship also stank of sewage.

Our holiday was spoiled by smells from air vents at the side of our balcony! Horrible smells from vents all around the ship. Poor.
How many people can you cram onto a ship? Meal times are chaotic. P & O putting their profits way before their customers' comfort.

Having previously sailed the Baltic in Arcadia, we decided on this fly cruise to New Orleans, Florida and the Caribbean over Christmas.

It was the first cruise I had been on in around 10 years, having always traveled previously with Royal Caribbean. My partner and I were recommended to try P&O by a friend, who suggested they catered far better for the British market. It was 100% sound advice.

Birmingham to Bridgetown Barabados Thomson Dreamliner- 2 meals included Excellent food and tea.
Next time we saw our suitcases was in our cabin that evening.
Straight from the aircraft to the P&O shed checkin in Barbados- very effcient.

This was our ( with my wife) first cruise on P and O and only our second overall. We had a balcony cabin towards the rear of the ship . It was fairly good; I have been in smaller hotel rooms in London and Paris! The bed was great and i can honestly say I had 14 great sleeps.
