Our second mini cruise with P&O spending some non-refundable credits. Together with ROL, our preferred agents, we'd worked out how to best spend our credits and on this one we were able to book the Mayflower suite on B deck. Our first suite on a P&O ship although we'd regularly sailed with Fred Olsen in their Premier Suites. We were on a three night hop over to Zeebrugge near the lovely town of ...

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azura

Was supposed to go to Mykonos, Souda Bay (Crete), Athens and Santorini. Bad parts: 1. Mykonos stay got replaced with Heraklion (Crete). 2. Me and my partner both got a sickness and diarrhoea bug and spent the last 3 days locked in a cabin having been told to isolate. We had no calls from the nurse to check on us, just a form to fill out which was left on the outside of our door. Once ...

Blackpool on a boat with a side of food poisoning

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azura

Me and my fiancé are explorers at heart, so we thought a cruise would be a perfect way of seeing different places. We live for holidays, it’s what we spend all our hard earned money on. From cheap city break weekends right up to the Maldives. If I could go back in time I would!! It was dire! There was a reason we thought what a bargain at just £2000 in total. 1. It was like Blackpool on a ...

Excellent value for money

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ventura

We felt we got everything we expected (and indeed, wanted). Embarkation and disembarkation was efficient. We had to wait for our room as they were doing a deep clean due to illness on board. P&O staff were doing a good job of maintaining hygiene standards throughout our week. Our cabin was spacious and we loved the layout and mirrors! The cabin bathroom is a bit tired. Shower cabin needed ...

Apart from the slow embarkation due to norovirus on previous cruises our cruise was excellent. Our highlights were the food and entertainment. I highly recommend all the speciality restaurants our favourites been Epicurean and Sindhu where the food and service in both were outstanding. The crepe suzette was unbelievable cooked in front of us WOW. The 3 shows from the headliners were ...

This was my first cruise and first solo holiday so was unsure what to expect, i was extremely happy with every aspect of the holiday the food was beautiful, I went on excursion at every port again these were really well organised and some wonderful guides. My biggest fear was dining alone again this fear was soon over come due to attending one of the solo meetings there I met 7 other solo ...

First time cruise certainly won't be our last. From the friendly helpful staff to the organised trips it was excellent. Wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded our expectations. Some of the entertainment wasn't the best. The choice of food was fantastic from the buffet to the restaurant. Would highly recommend freedom dining as its more flexible.Celebration night wasn't for us as if you ...

Disappointing Azura.

After three wonderful holidays on Iona, Arvia and Britannia we were really looking forward to our cruise on the Azura. We expected to see the signs of a badly needed refit so that didn’t bother us. However the ship doesn’t compare the the other ships. The entertainment was very poor. Pulse are usually a highlight for us but this time we found them just average. The theatre productions were ...

No idea on diary requirements, even went to diatry meeting and was not informed that you could book gluten free 24 hours in advance, only found out after complaining in main dining area about lack of choice. Waterside very poor staff including helper when asked what else stated plenty and started pointing out vegan and vegetarian, food cross contamination gluten free cakes with none gluten free, ...
