Having cruised on Ventura twice, pre Covid, we thought we would sail on her again. We had read some comments on here from others stating that standards had slipped on all fronts. However, we kept an open mind.
We used the online check in and travelled down by coach. We were on the ship within twenty minutes of arriving at the terminal . Our luggage arrived outside our cabin promptly . ...
So disappointed, we are seasoned cruisers and booked this because it was inexpensive but really regret it now as ship is falling apart is not maintained and in our opinion dirty especially the public toilets where the tiles and skirting is full of grime. The food in the buffet is just awful and reminded of school diners, there is no bakery on board just reheat frozen bread. The food in the main ...
As I said in my title, you get what you pay for. The ship is getting on and looks a little faded in parts. The food is nowhere the level you would otherwise expect on a cruise. But hey, you get what you pay for. What I don't understand is why people who come on having paid a P&O price, expect a Regent Seven Seas service. This is an adult only ship which quite naturally attracts a fair amount of UK ...
Great guy smashing jokes really topped the cruise off. A special mention to vocal xtr3me and sherwin
Loved it highly recommend
Buffet was alright busy at times.
Gusto the room guy was funny and made some
Nice animals in the room from towels
Leon’s singing at the sail away party was the highlight of my holiday
Restaurant food was nice and service was good ...
Never been to amsterdam, p&o cruise seemed vfm way to spend 2 days in Amsterdam with no flying straight out of Southampton, enjoying quality food accommodation and entertainment. House band Pulse great as ever. Whitney tribute singer amazing.
Overall slightly prefer Britania we did 14 nights on to Scandinavia eaarlier in year, bit these are small niggles as unlike Ventura Britania does not ...
I booked this as we wanted to visit Amsterdam and I thought it was a good way to combine that with a mini-break.
It was booked in July and once confirmed we checked the websites of the places we wanted to visit and booked tickets as soon as we were able. Anne Frank house opens bookings on a specific day 6 weeks in advance so we made sure we knew when that would be so as not to miss out. If ...
2nd P&O cruise for myself and my partner. We had a fantastic time visiting some great locations and met some lovely folk during our time on Azura.
Embarkation was pretty smooth, had to wait a little while on luggage being delivered to cabin but not a major issue. We had an inside cabin which was spotless. The cabin steward was lovely and did a fantastic job.
Food - we loved The Glass ...
Whilst the crew were attentive some had only very limited English. The ship was immaculately clean and our cabin steward was lovely but the ice bucket ordered for 6pm each evening more often than not failed to arrive on time if at all.
The food for the first 2/3 days was tepid and we regularly sent back cold coffee.
There was no information given about ports of call other than to suggest ...
Well Azura delivered again. Flights, transfers perfect. Flew with Jet2 on the brand new 321neo out from Manchester flight was 6:55AM lovely aircraft and great crew. Night before since this was a scheduled flight we were able to check the luggage in the night before then in the morning go straight to security. Next year we fly with TUI to join the ship and its a shame we are not able to do this it ...
N399 Ventura - Spain, France and Portugal.

- Lots of choice when it ...
