We chose this cruise to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday. It was our second cruise, both have been with P&O We were very disappointed with Britannia. the ship is badly designed, we were shocked at its state - scruffy and not always clean - for a ship that's 12 month's old! There were too many people for its entertainment restaurants and theatres etc. we were second sitting for dinner ...

I have recently come back from a 2 week cruise on the Britannia to the Caribbean ,I have been on many different cruise ships but the Britannia by far is the worst ship ever. The food was appalling in the Meridian Restaurant the menu was the same thing every night, the food was of poor quality just a few choices of the main meal was gammon and chips steak and chips dinners which I would cook at ...

The cruise ship was dirty including a persisting smell of sewage on the 7th deck which we reported to the staff but was ignored, the fact that they were aware of this and did nothing has been admitted to us since the cruise. The overall ship was dirty also. Hardly surprising then that there was a breakout of norovirus which I unfortunately contracted. Thus started my hell of quarantine in my ...

There is absolutely nothing ‘Special’ about a P&O Cruise anymore. Standards have plummeted to ‘lows’ that are unacceptable in view of the claims made in P&O Cruise Brochures. For a company that sells its cruises on ‘The Fine Dining’ experience. Silver Service has gone, but they won’t tell you. – You have to find out for yourself. – Wine waiters have an impossible work load, not leaving their ...

We have cruised with P&O on an number of occasions and have always regarded cruising to be a sophisticated type of holiday. We knew the Azura was going to be a big ship, and expected that the level of service, food and entertainment would be on a scale to satisfy the variety of passengers on board. We were very quickly disappointed by ALL of these expectations. The "entertainment" can only be ...

Booked this once in a lifetime cruise for my partners 50th birthday. After saving up for the £2,169 per person holiday. We have never spent so much on a holiday so expected it to be special. It was special being the worst holiday ever! It put me off cruise for life. Also the most boring New Years ever. • Swoosh bucket Pontins style evening entertainment. So bad we was in bed for 11pm • ...

Just returned from 2 week cruise on this ship never to be repeated. Ship looked very tired and the public area carpets were stained and tatty in appearance. P and O or should I say Carnival have let their standards literally slide into the sea . All the good staff have gone to the their new flagship Brittania. If there were officers on this ship then they were conspicuous by their absence, this ...

Azura is a ship with many problems i.e. dirty stained grubby carpets through out the public areas, stateroom carpets stained and dirty, our balcony was not cleaned once during our holiday, not even by the sanitation team !!!! sent in during my husbands illness due to the n/virus sweeping the ship, both staff and guests were very ill, it's not surprising given the poor hygiene standards, no hand ...

Went on our first cruise on P&O Ventura .What a disappointment! The Entertainment very poor . After sailing for two nights and one day we were due to land at Grand Turk but the captain said it was to dangerous to land, nobody could understand why he didn't take us somewhere else away from the bad weather or to another island instead of just cruising around for another two days and two nights! I ...
