A ship too far?

Picked this cruise as we wanted to try a newer and larger ship compared to our usual cruise line. We typically sail in the 2,500-3,000 pax range of vessels but got a good price and wanted to give it a go. The ship is stunning and stylish with plenty of food/entertainment options which is great. Cabins are fantastic, sleek and spacious so no complaints there. Our major complaint and downside ...

Cruised Caribbean, December 2023. Multigenerational family visit with five cabins booked. Boat is very dirty and not well maintained. Food is very poor quality and hit or miss. Very poor vegetarian options with dried up salads or vegetables that have been overcooked and left out on the side for hours and then thrown on the plate. New Year’s Eve, for a vegetarian Daughter was a plate of salad or a ...

How does a company with this much experience get it so wrong unless they just couldn’t care less! 1 Case robbed in transit, sun cream and toiletries stolen. Other case was broken. 2 Flight chaos, aircraft wrongly configured 3 3 different seat allocations 4 Didn’t correctly honour extra leg room 5 No refund for allocated (paid for) seats not being available 6 Excursion in DR ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Britannia

I spent 2 weeks on this ship on a Caribbean cruisr. I spent 2 sleepless weeks since despite having spent nearly £4k , my cabin was right on top of a club running music until morning hours. Not a chance for customer service to do anything about it, for them to reply with a standard reply and not solving anything took 24 days since the day i logged my complaint. But that was not ...

Just come home from the Christmas cruise and really enjoyed it. Britannia was a pleasant surprise - a classy upgrade on our two previous trips on Azura. I was surprised how different the atrium felt (in a good way) when we were there, compared to how it looks in photos and videos - you can't get a feel for the ambience until you're there. It's smaller than it looks on screen, but there's ...

Cruised 4 years ago on Britannia. Not holidayed for 4 years so decided to return. The standards on this ship have dropped. Staff seemed unhappy. Cleanliness was terrible and unlike previous cruises where they would help you, everything seemed too much trouble. We had a premium deluxe balcony cabin. The cabin itself was good but cleanliness was not up to standards of previous ships. We ...

We have been on P&O Christmas cruises for years, flying from Manchester to Barbados usually 2 weeks duration but occasionally 4 weeks. This one was 2 weeks. Flight out was OK, a bit late but nothing like the debacle of 2022. We had special assistance at both Manchester and Barbados airports which worked well and instead of having to cram into small mini buses we had a private taxi for the journey ...

We sailed on a Christmas Cruise for the first time in 2023 on P&O Britannia, influenced by seeing Britannia docked alongside Carribean Princess (on which we were sailing) in February 2019. The crowd on the ship seemed to be having a great time, and the people we chatted to on the dockside recommended the ship. So, the first dispapointment is that we discovered the "Great British Sailaway" has ...
