Good But Not As Good As Before Covid

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Britannia

We had already cruised the Caribbean on 2 previous occasions but with Princess Cruises. We wanted to return to this destination for a third time as it is so beautiful and we chose P&O as they were offering a good rate. We got off to a poor start. Arriving at Bridgetown Cruise Terminal we had to stay on board our hot and stuffy coach for 2 hours while the ship was turned round due to a broken ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Arvia

The ship, crew and staff were lovely, however there were a few niggles for us, nothing to spoil the experience but enough to take some of the shine off. Our cabin was lovely, plenty of storage and a lovely cabin steward. The availability of sun loungers was an issue, but again if one improvised it wasn’t too much of a problem. The food was very well cooked and presented but unless you’re ...

As a seasoned cruiser over the past 30 years and having sailed with P &O 4 times before, I was excited to try out Arvia. P &O have a good product. Direct flights from local airports, easy embarkation/disembarkation without the hassle of immigration lines and realistic drinks prices with no tips added on. Arvia is a beautiful ship, with great decor and lots of good things, but there are some ...

Festive Caribbean Cruise

This was our first P&O fly cruise – the festive Caribbean Christmas Cruise, departing from Birmingham on Dec 16th for 2 weeks. We have cruised with P&O before, but a long time ago, we more frequently cruise with Princess & Royal Caribbean. We were attracted by the itinerary on offer & the fact that it was a fly/cruise package. I did quite a lot of research on CruiseCritic (thanks again to ...

Joined a group of singles who were travelling on this cruise. Great itinerary visiting Barbados Curaçao Aruba Saint Vincent Grenada St Lucia Saint Kitts Antigua and Saint Maarten. Returned on Saturday 25th March. Masks had to be worn on board except in dining. All very straightforward at airport and cruise excursions. Warning-if you are a P&O traveller, the company requires an ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

We had cruised on Azura in Jan 21 and it was so good we booked again. Manchester airport was a nightmare and it took 3 hours 40 min from bus drop off till we cleared security. mostly because of covid testing and not enough TUI check in staff. We had booked the Aspire lounge but had to walk briskly from security to the departure gate in time for boarding. £50 down the drain. The check in etc ...

Good to be back, Good food, patchy entertainment

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

Did the same cruise 3 yrs ago so good to be back. Surprised to find only 900 onboard but understandable. Interior lacked a bit of atmosphere if you didn't go at peak times (after 8.30 show, usually). Felt sorry for some of the artists because of this. Plus point was no queues for dining rooms, where the food was very good. Service varied - generally good but sometimes slow and forgetful, even ...

BARBADOS AND A CRUISE UP THE ATLANTIC! and fcc

Flight over was good and so were transfers to ship. Two days in Barbados to visit relatives then back to the ship to find out the ship was going straight back to Southampton due to CVIRUS. Big shame but we really enjoyed our time on board. Always something to do. Brilliant lectures from Tony White - Drug man!! Gym and classes good. Cabin fine, although had restricted view due to life ...

Excellent Caribbean holiday

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Azura

Maybe we was on a different ship than what has been reviewed before. first of all a few bits of rust and worn carpets wont bother our holiday experience. Secondly I do not write letters to the captain with the slightest complaint and proceed to tell everyone within earshot. we all know Azura is going in for refit but the ship is in very good condition considering over 3000 passengers use it 365 ...

Poor end to cruise due to cancelled flight

Sailed on Britannia 1st Feb around the Caribbean on our third P&O cruise second time on Britannia, and apart from the usual sun bed hogging had a great time on board ship. Why people feel they need to reserve sun beds on both sides of the ship at 9 in the morning is beyond me. PO must do more about this as this was the worst we seen. Embarkation was easy straight off the plane on to awaiting ...
