Amazing Outstanding Shows (Headliners)

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Britannia

We loved everything about this cruise. The meals it's hard to comment on meals as everyone has there own taste, we thought the variety was excellent from the restaurants to the buffet you could always find something you liked. But the Headliners shows were fantastic as expected with them all being professionals, I think a lot of people don't realise that these individuals have to go ...

Norwegian Fjords - Iona

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Iona

I wanted to go on a cruise again as it had been 10 years since the last time. I wanted again a scenic place to go to so it seemed logical to choose the Norwegian Fjords. After some search, I came across P&O and booked a 7-night cruise with my husband. We decided to book a sea view room and to book some of the excursions offered online. The day of the cruise finally arrived. The only ...

Overall fabulous

We chose this cruise for the destination and value. The travel agent tries to upsell of course so choose the cabin you like for yourself from the ships plan. I did speak to someone on board who had to pay the premium for a balcony cabin yet part of the ships structure came across the patio door, so she could not see anything. Really not sure where it was so check that out before buying a balcony ...

Just back from a wonderful week in the Norwegian Fjords on Iona had a great time. We stayed in 95** a conservatory suite which was a great room, nice to have that extra bit of space - lovely for sailing in and out of Olden. Watched all the shows in the theatre, especially loved the magician and the comedian Tucker. Favourite bars Crows nest and Emerald. Loved Sindhu, the Limelight with La Voix ...

A cruise for all walks of life, a beer in a sports bar up to champagne in a cocktail bar to smooth piano tunes. Not having to pay for things we would not need such as wifi and ridiculous drinks packages (we are light drinkers). We ordered all the drinks we fancied and spent £150 in a week. (We had £310 OBC so hit the shops to spend the balance or loose it). Great food and choice of style/quality ...

Disappointing

We have always wanted to see Fjords. Wish we had chosen a smaller boat. Shore excursions were boring, uninformative and expensive. The ship was understaffed, food mediocre at best and booking system a complete joke. We ate in the Quays mostly as the Horizon was always packed and the food dreadful. Staff looked distracted and bored too. Shopping non existent. All little luxury touches we ...

True definition of a cruise holiday

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Arcadia

P & O advertise an enjoyable holiday at reasonable price and this is exactly what it provides. The Acadia is not a glamorous or modern ship but has its own charm. Our embarkation was slick and because we had a time slot we boarded the ship within half an hour of turning up at the port in Southampton. We were signed off at our muster station and went directly to have lunch in the Belvedere ...

Fantastic Cruise

All round brilliant. The ship was clean, well laid out, modern and easy to walk around. The disabled access is fantastic with automatic doors in the accessible cabins. Plenty to do on sea days with entertainment and plenty of restaurant choices. We used the spa for the first time which had excellent facilities. Cabin was spacious, modern and comfortable. Our cabin Steward Moses was fantastic. ...

Please don’t be put off by all the moaning grumpy reviews, P&O offer incredible value for money and you have to take that into account. We had an absolute whale of a time and to be honest couldn’t believe what we got for how little we paid. Do not be put off if you see a really good deal for P&O as it’s well worth it. (Generally I think the people who are prepared to pay the least are the very ...

Absolutely Brilliant!

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Iona

I chose this cruise because I'd always wanted to do a fjords cruise (okay you only actually visit one fjord, the rest are coastal towns but that's beside the point .... Norway is amazing!). First, embarkation. The CPS car parking service was easy to use. Pull up where they direct you, stay in the car till they ask you to get out, hand over your keys and head for the terminal. So many people ...
