1st Time Cruising; Excellent Experience

Me, my wife and 16 year old daughter have just returned from our first ever cruise.....and we're hooked. We sailed through the Bay of Biscay down to Cadiz and back up, calling in at Portugal on the way back. All the staff on board the Azura were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Particularly the restaurant staff. Food was plentiful in whichever restaurant we chose and very tasty. The specialist ...

We have just returned from a 6 night cruise on the Azura . The ship itself was very nice , well presented and cleaned to perfection what seemed to be 24 hours a day . Prior to travelling I read previous reviews regarding this ship and was of the opinion people only criticise if they have had a bad experience , so excepted there reviews with a pinch of salt , how wrong could I have been !! The food ...

I will try to be as balanced as possible. Let me start by saying that we are in our 40's and cruised with many different lines but this was the first with P & O and from Southampton. Also the Co. tried to provide a cabin upgrade under the ...

INTRODUCTION - I had built my Mother and Son's expectations up so high telling them what a wonderful time they would have cruising only for their first cruise to fall flat on it's face. PRE-CRUISE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Booking our tickets was easy and straight forward. I saw on p&o's website there was a theme night, it might be Hawaiian or 60's/70's. I love dressing up and our details did not inform ...

We sailed from Southampton 8th June to Guernsey, Cherbourg,Oporto and La Coruna. Check in was quick and easy as always, we were on the ship having lunch in no time at all.The check in staff very pleasant and polite. I must admit that i was a little apprehensive after reading several reviews re cost cutting measures and the pre plating of main course in the main dining rooms. We were on a table ...

We had a very enjoyable holiday aboard Azura, with fantastic, not too hot weather, and interesting ports. We didn't get to know any of our fellow passengers well, but those we spoke to were very pleasant and good company and there seemed to be fewer people making comparisons with other cruise lines and cruise holidays. There were quite a few largish family groups and lots of children (middle of ...
