Maybe we was on a different ship than what has been reviewed before. first of all a few bits of rust and worn carpets wont bother our holiday experience. Secondly I do not write letters to the captain with the slightest complaint and proceed to tell everyone within earshot. we all know Azura is going in for refit but the ship is in very good condition considering over 3000 passengers use it 365 ...

Overall a very enjoyable cruise for 2 weeks around the Caribbean. I have to admit I do wonder about some of the comments of others and the issues they highlight, apart from an issue with the toilet/shower extractor fan the ship was clean & well presented with a fantastic staff.

Boarding the ship in Barbados was a well organised operation. After leaving the TUI flight from Manchester we directly boarded a bus which took us to the Azura where a bank of staff processed credit cards and signed everyone in. We took on board the allowed 2 x 1 litre bottles of wine or spirit which is way more than other cruise lines.

Sadly cut backs are very noticeable on the Azura.
Food was excellent in all venues.
Cabin appeared clean and steward was great, sadly they no longer have time to do the wonderful animal towels as they now have a greater volume of rooms to clean. sadly when we pulled our suitcase out from under the bed it was covered in dust! This was a 50th birthday present from my husband and I was not disappointed.

Great Premium flight from Birmingham well worth the extra though why you should have to pay on top of £175 surcharge to reserve a seat baffles me.
Smooth transfer to cruise terminal then super quick boarding less than 5 minutes after getting off coach.
Found cabin nice and spacious with large balcony. All ok there, luggage arrived within an hour or so.

Not a moan but flight (tui) delayed at Manchester. Arrived Barbados almost on time and was transferred to the ship bypassing the airport, (great)
